i was playing this a shitload today. the combat is pretty shallow, but its really fun when you have a coordinated group working together.

I was staring at the PSN store screen for five minutes last night, contemplating whether or not I should hit the "BUY" button for this game. Well I chickened out because I wanted to hear some reviews from people. I'm pretty sure I'll get it one day soon though.

I have been waiting ages for this to release and it finally does...while I am on vacation!! Ugh!! Well, makes coming back so much easier.

People I've talked to who've bought it seem generally dissappointed, they say it's a decent PSN game, but nowhere near the price, especially not if you live in EU(Which sees a 50% price increase compared to the US, US is around 10 euro when converted from USD, EU price is 15..)

Personally I think I'll just wait for the PSP 'port' and 'get' that.

I've been playing it a bit, pretty fun. I don't know if it'd be worth the full price, but the great thing about getting games off of PSN is that you can share them. It only cost me $7.50.

The combat is a bit shallow but if teamwork is employed the overall game has pretty significant depth. I wish it had an upgrade system like CoD4 or Killzone 2, but other than that it's a pretty great little game.

Uhhh, I've used visa gift cards on PSN before. The only thing I can think of is if you haven't activated your card for online use yet.

I played it while at my friend's place and it was quite marvelous. Didn't have a lot of time so didn't look to deep into every class and only played one level, but it was awesome.

I think the game looks great and everything I've read from people who played it generally like it despite some early release connection issues for some people. The only problem for me is that there isn't split screen play. That's pretty much a show stopper for me since I only seem to play games when friends are over anymore. I detest multiplayer with strangers and probably haven't played a game like that since I was still in college. Maybe if I'm bored one day I'll grab it for the single player.

I wouldn't grab it for the SP. There's not much there. It's basically just 7 bot matches that introduce you to the different modes with a little narration at the beginning. There's also a "Gladiate" mode that's interesting .... but the SP offering probably doesn't justify the purchase. Great MP game.

And I can attest to the connection issues, but they'll get it fixed soon hopefully.

Great game though, don't mean to be too down on it .
