What is (if you like them) your favorite Linkin Park song.

In the End and Dedicated (Not on a Album) would have to mine.

Well I like a few of their songs, but I wish they would just drop the rap part of the songs.

In the End, Crawling, Numb

Papercut
One Step Close
Points of Authority (Orig)

Papercut

But I like:
Faint
Somewhere I belong
By myself

The rap portion of their songs pisses me off.

How dare you say there songs are rap, Rap is a word for gangster dropout who can't get a job so they make up bull shit rimes.

I hate their lyrics... it's emo-metal.

The only song I kind of like by them is My December.

No he said the rap portion of their songs. IMHO heavy metal and rap don't fit together no matter how they compose the songs. So keep the heavy metal and alternative electronic weirdness par, but dump the rap part.

I agree with you all, the rapping parts suck in LP. Mike Shinoda is a shitty MC.

You're an idiot :) you might not like it, but Linkin Park's admittedly godawful songs contain 'rapping' by an MC.

I don't like Linkin Park, for me they were a band I listened to when I was 14.. I just don't like them anymore.

I fukcing hate Linkin Park, I'm not even a rap fan, but there is definitely some awesome hip hop out there, that is a billion times better than that emo/metal/rap/whatever shit

That was off re-animation i tihnk. Their 'mixes' album

Yes it's the 2nd track.

I know it's rap but i think if someone said i rapped i would be upset to be could that.

The Linkin Park rap is the only rap i like anyway, i hate this eminem and 50 cents shit.

Word to yah mother.

If you take the rap out of Linkin Park then they're just a crap Alice in Chains wannabe. Like Silverchair is to Nirvana.

Rap and Hip Hop are shit. They degraded the music industry by letting people that actually don't have any musical talent become super stars, what a joke. I got sick when I saw Eminem get an award for best "singer":x

If all you've heard is mainstream rap like Eminem then you don't have an accurate view of what hip hop is. Eminem is a joke. Check out Del Tha Funkee Homosapien or Deltron (same guy), A Tribe Called Quest or MF Doom.
Three months ago I HATED rap, and would agree with you completely, but that was before someone played me some Del

QFT

I can't stand them anymore. I used to like them a lot when I was younger but not anymore.

I liked them better when I was younger but I still didn't care for 'em too much. I liked the drum beats, hints electronica and their guitar pieces. But then they bring in... rap. GG youth of America for making them popular.

I do have to admit though. I do like their cover of Wish.

Artistic rap > * > Mike Shinoda > * > * > Mainstream Rap. You can get much, much worse than Linkin Park.

Favorite songs, in no particular order:
Somewhere I Belong
Faint
Session
Hit The Floor
Points of Authority
Papercut

I think everyone (under the age of 20) went through (or is going through) a dark period in their teenage years where they liked crap like Linkin Park and other "pop-metal" bands. Yes, myself included. Thankfully I grew up and developed a taste for real music. The only bit of hope I can offer you Sparda is that one day you will grow out of them, probably the day your balls drop. I sometimes envy those who lived through the 60's and 70's, back in those days you had genre defining bands and individuals springing up left right and centre. Today we're treated to the same old generic crap time after time. I could count the number of truly excellent musicians that have come out in the last 25 years on one hand.

Queen, tool,Rod Stewart? those are pretty excleent people imo.

Everyone develops their own music taste over time..
Eventually you reach the one that you really enjoy.. and you will love it :)

Well two of the artists in your list are from the 70's.

Heeeey now Rod is still doing the occasional concert or commercial, sounding quite pitiful tbh. :p

But I have no favorite Linkin Park song because I don't listen to them, actually I can't stand them at all. :x

o_O Linkin Park is not the only thing i like.
What music do you like?

how can u even admit that you used to like them? anyone who likes linkin park fails at life, and i don't mean the board game. 10 quid to whoever can figure out that reference hehe

I never really liked them at all, I didn't listen to music at all during that "Dark Period".
