Discard this if it has been done already.

But mine was the part in the stalker train where Alyx says i hope they don't remember who they were. That was a scary moment. And also the underground carpark. The antlions battle was intense.

zombines and fast zombsies in the lift part in undue alarm. i died many times there. many many times. its all cos those zombines can weild nades. dam nades.

for me, direct intervention w/ the core and all that are the best part, because the action is very consistant. (Btw, for the above post, you can grab zombine nades out of their hand with the gravity gun, and shoot it at others. :)) I think in the others it kinda lost touch and it was all "Been here, done that" because it was the same textures and designs from the many battered streets from hl2.

Seeing the Citadel core for the first time on a good graphics card. I could -feel- the radiation. So cool. :D

There are many.
But if i have to pick one, maybe when i wasted the gunship in the wooden roof. Then Alyx says something like: "Woow...holy...i mean...geesh, Gordon you're a real terror!..." That felt good :)

And Alyx says something like hit it with the crowbar a few times to see if that thing is dead and i tried once. That was a funny moment to.

I guess I'd have to go with the finale, which is as dark and unresolved as any Valve ending. Other high points included: the crashing drop ship in the citadel; seeing Alyx looking at me through the window near the core in DI; the rollermine vs. Combine battle, which played out really sweetly last time I did it; the momemt the doors close on the zombies at the end of Lowlife and the player's subsequent emmergence into eerie, desserted streets; the whole running 3-way battle with Gord and Alyx, zombies, and Combine in the hospital (especially the bit where several zombies burst through a door and you can fry them en masse with an energy ball); and the burning sniper dangling from the window in Exit 17.

The first scene in the wrecked citadel where you see the machinery falling apart (the coffins rolling off the radiator, catwalks exploding, etc.) really set the tone of the rest of the journey.

emerging onto the streets of a newly flattened city 17, a strider thundering along in the distance, and kleiner's voice in the background

o that sux ... i just played ep1 again and i also like the part right after the water puzzle ... u walk up some stairs and meet back up with alyx then walk into a room thats floor is almost completely gone ... u look down to the room below and thurs a poison zombie ... then after u kill him and jump down into the lower room its zombie/zombine mania with them coming in from 2 or 3 sides and flares/hoppers at ur disposal :D

I liked the van ride in the first chapter...lol.. that was fun.
Also in lowlife when alyx makes zombie sounds... the first time I herd that I accually fell for it..

If I'll have to pick, it'll be the ending scene. I have never seen anything as stunning as that.

The middle three chapters.
P.S. I'm posting this from my Wii.:D

off topic, but damn, i didn't know you could get on the internet with a wii. thats pretty sweet. ive done it with the ps3,but wheres xbox in this whole world wibe web-console thing? actually the orange box will make up for it. thats still +2 for the ps3 though.

Favorite episode moment...... kinda hard.....I think I was the happiest at the beginning starting off with the gravity gun and getting it superpowered off the bat. A "no ****in way" moment. Favorite part had to be waiting for the elevator with all the zombies piling in. Too stoned at the time, and forgot it was on hard mode.

Combine vs. Zombie battles in hospital. Fun to watch and interfere:p

BTW for anyone who wants to know how to hook Wii up to internet, go to Wii shop, then Wii ware, click internet channel, and download, it's free:thumbs:

Alyx crying in Ep1 when I was running with DX7 and un-updated drivers.

Her eyes became green and the face was damn weird. That looked hilarious.

Off-topic: I have just found out that there are actually rebels running about when you and Alyx is trapped inside the park. Nice detail.

You know, for some reason I've still yet to have heard this. I don't really know where it takes place.

Okay, I can try that. Thanks.

Back to the topic- my favorite part was probably either the van ride across the chasm or being in the pitch-black area with the elevator and lots of zombies. Very creepy. Valve is top-notch when it comes to creating the creepy factor.

The zombie noise she makes is random, it doesn't always happen. I heard it for the first time on my third play through.

Yeah, you don't always get it. Just walk around without your flashlight on long enough and she'll eventually say it. But don't stray to far from her or she'll start getting worried and saying other things.

Start "new game" moment gonna be best cuz i didnt play it YET. Waiting for orange box.

coffins?

The Citadel Core was something to behold. Really pretty. And all the zombies banging on the double doors in the hospital was kinda creepy.
