V-Man's Favorite
I had many favorite moments, but I'll sort them in the order of the game.
I loved the Vortigaunts and the G-Man (seems the vortigaunts are more powerfull than we expected hmm?), but I kind of missed watching the G-Man spy on me and then casually walk away.
I loved D0g through the whole beginning, and the van ride was fun as heck.
I also thought that the entire mood of the citadel was amazing, and the core was cool, but I don't have a shiny graphics card so it wasn't that great.
I thought how Alyx would make the zombie moaning noise was pretty cool too. What I loved even more was how she counter-attacked all their swipes and she stomped on the headcrabs.
I loved how the zombines would pull out grenades and just wack you with it, and when they're swallowed by a barnacle they have the headcrab alone swallowed and the lower jaw is all thats left.
I also loved the kleiner casts. http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Half-Life_2:_Episode_One
I like how when you are lead into that building thats used by the resistance as a little outpost (the one that that guy tells the girl to shut up when she asks him the password), and once your through all those zombies and your near those stairs, there's a crack in the floor.
Valve put in a a resistance woman and man in there and they just say various things like "They might call 'em crabs, but I'll tell you what: they don't taste like crab."
I loved the part with Barney and how he says "Go on across, Gordon! She's waiting for you... you lucky dog, you!"
I enjoyed the whole hospital portion of the game, and in my opinion it was the best part of the entire game.
I enjoyed the final battle and the ending, but I kinda miss G-Man not giving me one of his cryptic speeches as a reward for beating the game...
All in all, I think Episode one is my favorite game ever, if a little short.
