What's your fav GTAIV musictrack(s) and radiostation(s)?

My fav tracks are Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene Pt 4 and Philip Glass - Pruit Igoe, they play on The Journey, which alongside We Know The Truth(WKTT) is my fav radiostation.

LCD sound system - get innoucoues (or something like that)

I'm really liking King Ring, Schweine, and Wild Dances on Vladivostok FM.

The Boggs - Arm in Arm

Quite a few tracks on Broker are great, haven't bothered to look up the names. Also more or less all of Vladisvostok, and there's always something cool playing on JNR or FusionFM for just cruising around or going on a date.

Yeah, Vladivostok is an all around great music station. To be honest, It's the only music radio station I think I have sat on for more than a minute... listening to it all the time in every car I get in(except when I'm not listening to radio). And as I said before, the three songs that stand out for me most on that station are King Ring, Schweine, and Wild Dances.

The Journey has some awesome crusing tracks on but I often find myself hearing the same song over and over again in the space of like, 30 minutes.

None of the other stations have really stood out to me yet, but theres a rap track I really like that I occasionally stumble upon. May have to ZiT it or whatever.

I like the beat and I like classics but there's only like 3 songs.

there are so many good tracks
seems like there's a station/track for every mood and scenario
there's some really good shit on electro choc
and great classic rock on liberty city rock

i was a little disappointed to discover that "the music of GTA IV" soundtrack that comes with the special edition doesn't include all of the songs though :(

That might be because there are over like 50 songs in the game total..:p

You can buy'em all off Amazon.com if you live in the USA iirc, soon it will be for sale in other countries as well.

Vladivostok is the way forward. Love this song: Glukoza - Schweine. It's hilarious to drive along to :D

Glukoza - Schweine

Ein Swei Drei
Schwinke Schwinke Schweine
Ein Svei Drei
Schwinke Schwinke Schweine-e

*loops in head*

I listen to LCHC mainly because I have yet to tire of Danny Gestapo screaming at us "pussies" to "listen to this f*cking song!!!"

Stooges - I wanna be your dog (it says Iggy Pop but it sounds identical to the original)
1/2 the songs on Liberty Rock
1/2 the songs on Vladivostock

Amish: cause the band is ****ing iggy pop and the stooges!
Prutt-igoe by philip glass
Goodbye horses on LRR
Tits and acid by simian mobile disco
The miles davis track on j'n'r
The stevie nicks track on LRR

Usually all my cars are set to Electro-Choc. Definitely my favorite station in the game. If i knew the song titles, I'd post my favorite.

Bump since I got the game a week ago.

I generally listen to Radio Broker hoping that The Black Keys tune Strange Times will be on or LCD Soundsystem and Get Innocuous.

Love 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' on LC Rock Radio when driving plus Smashing Pumpkins and Thin Lizzy

The Journey
is also good, there is 1 quite 'epic' song on it, was used in trailers afair.

I was surprised with The Beat and The Vibe as it has so many big names on it, Kanye West etc

I just downloaded a rip of all the radio stations from GTAIV. It's epic. :E

All of Liberty Rock, JNR and Fusion FM is awesome. Most of The Journey and Radio Broker are great too. Then sometimes it's just fun listening to the radio that's on in the car when you get in. Often find myself hooked on Classics despite it totally not being my type of music. Just reminds me of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The Classics is brilliant, I listen to it all the time (or when I'm not quickly skipping to Radio Broker in case Get Innocuous is on), but goddamn do they play Supa Star by Group Home a hell of a lot. Seriously, it's like everytime I switch to it I'm always met by the same (awesome) sample.

I love it but I hear it all the time.

6 stars + Algonquin's long straights + Cherry red Infernus + That Justice track on Electro Choc = Yes please.

Haha so true, that song is always on it.

I like the tune that the murderer in Silence of the Lambs listens to thats in the game on LCRR :p

'Goodbye Horses' or sumit.

"Ridin' with ma top down with ma jewelry on, hey i'm just gettin ma hood on"

top down by swizz beats from 102.7 The Beat!

Love that song when im cruisin in a super car vert, feel like a gangsta balla.

"war is necessary" - Nas

same station, love the song on when i'm in a beatdown bucket bustin drive-bys on enemy territory.

Justice's Waters Of Nazareth is the song I was thinking of.

joe walsh - rocky mountain way
juliette and the licks - inside the cage (david gilmour girls remix)

Oh :|

I always just knew them as The Stooges.

The first two albums are simply credited to "The Stooges," and I believe Iggy Pop was refered to as "Iggy Stooge" early in the band's career.

The introduction of James Williamson and the release of "Raw Power" saw the band's name being updated to "Iggy and the Stooges.'

They were NEVER know as "Iggy Pop and the Stooges."

I believe the attribution of "I Wanna Be Your Dog" to Iggy Pop is simply a mistake.
