Well, actually babelfish is proof of the existence of god, and also proof that he doesn't exist.fizzlephox said:I think we all know Babel Fish is a machine and that machines do not make mistakes.
That's false! China doesn't kill Christians.GhostValkyrie said:That's gotta be false babelfish, China doesn't allow churches. Not only do they arrest Christians, but many are executed....well, that's neither here nor there, but the thing about the church is way off for China.

Seriously, China's relations, both economic and diplomatic, with the rest of the world are getting better and better, seeing as China is pseudo-Communist at best and I doubt so very much that this would even beging to happen if they were randomly executing Christians. Many of the people they deal with are Christians, after all.

I'm a Chinese Christian who's a Canadian Citizen.Shuzer said:It'd be different if you were a Chinese citizen. Of course they wouldn't arrest and execute an American tourist :| Good way to start a war

ok, I went back and read it.. still pretty boring
i actually found it intesting so i cept reading... so yeah i did read the whole thingCyberSh33p said:Music piracy I would say is a lot of BS in and of itself. as some d00d once said, losses to piracy(P) are equal to wished for earnings(W) minus actual earnings (A)
P = W-A
The same thing happened with the radio, and the RIAA is more corrupt than the piraters.
IIRC when file sharing first started sales went up.
Games, movies, etc are a bit different I'd say, but still have some good points about them. PC games you can't rent, at least not in any random blockbuster, and for obvious reasons. This means you can't try the game to decide if you want to buy it or not. Some folks, though admittedly probably a select few, will indeed buy the game if they enjoyed it. The problem is a lot don't.
As for movies, I can't say because you can indeed rent those, unless they're some obscure foreign film.
Its understandable why the FBI would go after pirates of course, it hurts the economy, and it makes rich businesspeople cry at night and the government really hates it when that happens. However, I think Piracy is a problem blown way out of proportion. I don't think the movie industry has been hurt at all by piracy, in fact, mostly by their ridiculous prices. The games industry Has probably been hurt more, But the industry continues to grow(and I have a feeling it will grow more with the release of upcoming titles) and piracy probably isn't going to slow it down too much. And with things like steam, they can probably make piracy harder and harder.
Either way, with all this, I think the whole point I'm trying to make has been lost in random unconected sentences, but I'm pretty sure the jist of it was "the fbi is wasting their time". Kind of like I am wasting mine by hanging out here rather than doing homework
Now speak up, which idiots actually bothered to read this incoherent and convoluted post?

TrinityXero said:for one i havent downloaded the leaked beta cause ppl on thees forums are sniches and like to tell ppl who downloaded what and end up getting ppl sued for downloading... then again valve shouldnt have faked a hack... and as for 59.99 games? most games here are 39.99 - 49.99 but some higher end games are 59.99
I don't think anyone here has been reported to anyone for downloading the beta. Let alone get sued by someone.TrinityXero said:for one i havent downloaded the leaked beta cause ppl on thees forums are sniches and like to tell ppl who downloaded what and end up getting ppl sued for downloading... then again valve shouldnt have faked a hack... and as for 59.99 games? most games here are 39.99 - 49.99 but some higher end games are 59.99
