FBI: paying for coffee in cash = terrorist

Half-life2.net - never has there been a bigger hive of (likely terrorist) scum and villainy on the internet

Personally I carry about £30 on me (in case of emergencies) but I tend to use my bank card for the bulk of transactions (I've not actively used a credit card in years). I can't be bothered with the hassle of change more than anything else. Invariably you just end up with massive amounts of small denominations that sit in jars that you ultimately have to cash in somewhere.

And yet, there are still people who claim that the citizens of USA are more free than, say, Europe. Totally.

These instructions sound suspiciously McCarthy-like. Coming up next: House UnAmerican Activities commitee is back to root out [strike]communism[/strike] terrorism!

Considering that you can go to Jail for thought Crimes in Western Europe...yeah we are a tad more "free" then you.

Care to elaborate there with some specific examples of what you mean exactly? Or are you saying that until an offense is actually committed people are free to do as they wish?

I think he's referring to this as an example of American freedom.

Totally this. I put all the coppers and 5p coins I save up over the year in a jar and then annually go to the Coinstar machine at my local supermarket.
