Europeans aren't as weird and uptight about those things as we are over here. If you saw someone pull over and pee on the side of the road here, you'd probably at least register it as a bit odd or audacious - over there people wouldn't even blink or think twice about it.

Watching the pundits here in Ireland pussywhinging about Howard Webb is hilarious. These kind of guys spend 364 days in every year complaining about how football is not a contact sport any more. Now that they have money on Spain - and these guys aren't exactly reticent about their love of gambling on football - they're furious that every Dutch player hasn't been sent off.

Personally I think the refereeing's been pretty fair. The De Jong kick was arguably a red, but other than that, Webb has booked every bookable challenge so far, including the two Spanish ones.
