I just saw this movie and :O It was really awesome. Lots of action, some talking, maybe there should've been some more of that, though. Best game-based movie by far! I leapt up from my chair when overwhelmed by nostalgy and seeing people again. It was great I tell you. Maybe this should've been in the film forum but since no-one reads it I posted it here.

Yeah. I'm sure they were both rendered at 5 FPS and increased to 60 as well. (check Gamespot - they actually admit the demo was pre-rendered)

It's a confusing plot, for they use names as if you were supposed to know them, minor characters and all.
But the action is spectacular. It's nothing you've ever seen before.
The music and editing choices can use some smoothing, they utterly crash the movie at certain areas, as well as flip between past, present, and future at a whim.

Nonono, that didn't happen 100 years later. That happened in like 2 years or less. 2 years is the gap between the end of FF7 and FF7AC.

My buddy used to insist that all humans died at the end of FF7 because Holy defended the planet and killed anything that was poisoning it (including humans). He felt silly when I told him Advent Children was taking place after FF7.

Sweet movie though. My roomate downloaded it and I'm gonna watch it again today. Definitely gonna buy it when I get the chance.
