im pretty sure the first glass is a custom texture

Its part of de_train so its not.

Found the glass one.

glass/unbreakable

still if anyone knows if those cmds are still in cs plz post. Plz i need to know the other models.

The command's impulse 107, but it won't give you the name of a texture if you're pointing at a model or a displacement.

the windows one should come up if you set your filter to glass, it's a rather short list there.

Thx, so i take it there isnt a cmd for model names?

None that I know of, except opening the BSP and finding the prop_* entity in there.

Uhm... Just single out it with "door" as filter and "window" as filter. They're both there?

Oh, right, well the doorknob I don't know where it is, but there's several doorknobs spread around. The window is a texture and not a model, just single it out with "window" as filter, as I said above, and have a look around. The light on the ground is a decal, so that it looks like it shines through but in actuality it doesn't.

Edit: I was responding to the second and last ones as the first one has been resolved.

silly people. of course there's a command for that.

mat_crosshair // prints the name of the texture under the crosshair to the console.
there's also:
mat_texture_list 1 // brings up a panel with a list of all textures in the map (I think it's kind of useless)
and:
mat_surfacemat 1 //draws the name of the material on-screen. For complex brushes, they all squish together and are unreadable, though. Nice otherwise

you can also try:
r_staticpropinfo 1 // to print model names on-screen. don't know if it works for all models though.
Edit: I'm thinking you wanted the texture on teh model, not the model name itself? Hmm, I dunno.
