Finished DX2:IW [spoilers]

I'm kind of pissed about the end. As far as I can tell you have four options: go with the Templars, Illuminati, Dentons, or (what turned out to be) the Omar. The thing is, I thought the three main factions were all bad guys so when Leo showed up to give me an alternative I thought, this is it! Then when I finally beat the game it showed this crappy 1 minute video of this post-war earth with only the Omar running around. That's not what I wanted. Is there anyway to have a "happy" ending? I'm so disappointed!

Also, now that I've beaten the game, are there any easter eggs or additional things afterwards?

Anyway... I got the 'Illuminati' ending... I guess it was 'happy'... things prospered again, but it was really just back to where things were before the Collapse.

Deus ex invisible war is one of the greatest games ive ever played. I've gotten all the endings except the illuminati which im working on currently. Also, idk if you guys knew this, but if u stick with just the wto, ALOT of things change. Thats y i love this game. always something new every time around.

Yeah, I'm really starting to get annoyed at all the negativity surrounding this game. It may not be as good as the first, but as the first was the greatest game ever, that can be excused.

DX: IW is the closest to hl2 engine wise that we'll see. I'm currently also playing DX original cuz i never played it b4. do i visit any places in dx that ive seen in dx iw besides liberty island and unatco ruins (which might i add really is amazing how they recreated it)

I am interested in the first DE now that I played the second one, which is great btw. Only problem I find with it is the fact that the Maximum ammo you can have at one time is WAY too low for the amount of ammo your guns take. Feel like I am playing Resident Evil sometimes.

Just a off-topic question, is the first one for the computer?

my god some of your ignorance about the original is shocking..i find your lack of faith disturbing as someone once said.

if you think DX:IW is good wait till you play the original, it craps on the sequel from a great height.

don't get me started about DX:IW, i completely hated it. it's a piece of shit, end of story in my opinion. of course i'm glad some of you liked it, but holy shit i'm so pissed off at Ion Storm for dumbing the whole thing down. the original is infinitely more complex, intelligent, mature and as a result more rewarding. one thing i'll give to DX:IW is that it has a good story, apart from that, down the toilet it goes. worst game i bought for a very long time. and what's worse is that i paid extra to have it imported here to the UK, so i'm gonna take a shit in the bowl first before i flush it.

Despite all the decision making abilities I had, I never really felt like I changed anything all that much. The game is extremely linear. I'm trying to decide if I should play it again, but I feel like if I go a different direction, say the Order and then eventually the Illuminati that ultimatley I'll have a very similiar game experience. Am I wrong? I'll still have those choices at the end right?

Only choice you get in this game, real choices that affect story, is in the end, last map. Order, WTO, you can backstab them all the time, it doesn’t make any difference. I loved Deus Ex, but DX: IW (anyone else noticed there is no 2 in the title? For the good reason, I guess) is just a crappy sequel. Many people say “but if you don’t take it like a sequel, bla bla bla”, you know, I don’t care, it is sequel and it just proves that ION got lucky with Deus Ex. Man, what will happen to Thief 3? I can only guess.
