All that I have to say is...

IT'S ABOUT DAMNED TIME THAT I GOT BROADBAND! :afro:

Wireless DSL by the company Fire2Wire, 384kbps plan. For the longest time I was unable to get any other form of broadband besides of course, satelite :x, which needless to say, is nowhere near as capable as the others.

I'm so excited, they're comin' to install it tomorrow (Friday) at around 2-3:00 PM.

Just in time for me to download the Unreal II: XMP Demo tomorrow! \o/ w00-h00!

Nah, we got people here in sweden that got 100Mbit for like 20$... THATS good

Swedish Poeple are very lucky.

In the UK 100mBit can cost more than £15K a year

I started out with 768/128 Kbps, due to competition it was raised to 1024/320 last month and in january it will be 2048/320 for the same price (€ 51/month). I really love it and can't wait when they start testing with VDSL here (speeds up to 15 Mbit).
btw Scandinavian countries are really ahead with broadband, I wish I lived there :cheese:

Yeah, i know what your saying... its shit with modem these days.

We always pick on those in school (like 2 people, and they live on a small island somewhere outside town), but then again... everyone with 26Mbit picks on my 512Kbit... and thats not funneh.

I've got 0.5 mbits from Visit , for about 25$ a month.

I dont know... i think BBB provide downtown stockholm 26 - 100Mbit.

The thing im talking about is the thing they have up north... around "Gävle" (Gavlenet), i think they provide people with 100-120Mbit connections.

Im waiting for some wireless internet here too... i only got 512Kbit, and the wireless will be around 5Mbit i think.

Shit, the XMP demo is out? That means beta tests are either over or almost over. Damn, I'll have to check when I get back to my apartment.

I recommend XMP to all Unreal Series, Unreal Tournament Series, or Tribes Series fans. It's an excellent game and requires a lot more thought than your simple team deathmatch, siege, or capture the flag game. Check you guys in the final release, my XMP name is "FantasticDamage!" Word booty.

It's supposed to be out today, that's what I've been seein' all over the internet at least. I'll check FilePlanet later when I get home. They're supposed to have the 'exclusive' .

Not good in the grander scale of things. I average about 200kb/sec to most good servers. I have Comcast.

What kind of connection do you have?
