14 episodes is all there is from the entire life span of firefly correct?

14 episodes, on the DVD, then one additional unfilmed episode that was planned (the script is available online, but it's an early version, I think it's called Dead or Alive, and it's quite good), the movie Serenity, the comic Serenity: Those Left Behind, which goes between the series and the movie, a planned comic coming out later this year called Serenity: Better Days, and I think possibly a third comic after that.

Yes, the wire is brilliant, I can't see firefly being even half as good.

Have you seen the third or fourth season yet?

No i haven't. I only found out recently that the third was showing on tv at 12 A.M. but i didn't catch what episode number it was and i don't want to watch the season out of order. So i'm waiting for the dvd to come out. I hear the third and fourth seasons are some of the best.

Well yeah, but for all its intelligent humour (well, its used to have it at least), its jabs at politics and fox, the show is still about an american nuclear family. That's a pretty easy concept to understand. Firefly, Futurama and shows like that are alien and scary to Fox, thus, they go into cancelledland.

I will agree. Mal is one of my top fav characters. I also love Jane, just because he is hillarious.

I actually think Nathan Filian is pretty much my only favorite actor...or any actor that I actually look forward to seeing. Unfortunately firefly/serenity are pretty much the only good things he has been in.
