Here it is my first attempt at modelling, after watching a couple of Itchi's VTM's i tryed to give it ago on a Glock 17. Here is the slide thingy... around 50% done

Not bad, the back sight has a square/rectangular indentation though, not circular.

Looking at my glock, the guide rod under the barrel needs to be larger, as does the slide area around it. Might want to check it out from reference pics.

Hey, jsut done some work on the Glock17, its around 70% done now i rekon just gotta finish the top and then get rid of all polygons that dont need tobe there

Any suggestions, also some tips on lighting as i played with it but i just cant get it to be for the whole model

Hey,

Cheers for replys here is its current status, i would say around 85% of the modelling done, just gotta optomise it removing pollys that dont need to be there aswell as add other buttons and make the clip (current count is 629 polly's).

u dont have to remove any polys.....629 is actually pretty small.
nice gun btw .. handles are always hard for newbies.but u have captured it very well dont know how technicaly accurate it is tho sidewinder will help u with that
