iyfyoufhl, you are out of line insulting the teacher. You are LEARNING about child psychology so you know that she was wrong. LEARNING. Yeah. That makes sense. The teacher, if you watch the video that is available, tried many means to calm the child down. What do you suggest should have been done? Standing there pointing at the student and saying "No, no, no, no" until it stopped? Did the student get permanent harm from this? Temporary? Its easy to say what you are LEARNING works in the real world as you havent tested them as of yet. Your skills are from what you have learned, lets throw a child with a temper at you and you can calm her down.
Reading more of your posts I see you say the teacher was wrong. The teacher did NOTHING but try and stop the child, never laying a harmfull finger on her, the most she did was try and hold the childs hands as she swung at her, and not hold them hard enough to hurt. Again, any suggestions? iyfyoufhl? Want to set them all down for counciling?
Also, whoever posted the picture of the little girl with a frown being handcuffed and said "the cop was wrong" needs to go on a fishing trip with Scott Peterson. Show a picture next to it of the girl swinging at the teacher and other students next to it. You are all out of your god damned minds if you really believe there is a solution in this situation that would have been as effective as the one they used. The girl is fine, everyone is fine, and this gave for the best case scenario.
People need to use their freaking heads and stop saying how things should have not happened from a few weeks later. Yeah, if you were in the room the whole time you could talk. All you know is what you read and how you interpreted it.
