What is your favorite type of food "classification"?

I enjoy pretty much all food, I am not a picky eater at all, but I'd say my favorite food is INDIAN FOOD.
If you have not been to an authentic indian resaraunt, definately check it out sometime, just know what you are ordering, maybe take a friend who knows indian food well. So delicious, and you can eat so much of it.

As for other foods, I am a really big fan of real sea food, probably my second favorite.
Mexican food is good, but very repetative.
Italian food is overated, but alright in my opinion, and also very repetative.
Chinese food is pretty good, but generally most american chinese resaraunts are too greasy/not real "chinese" food. But it's pretty good when you are in the mood for it.

Poll to be up

Edit: I know there is not really such a thing as "American" food, but you get what I mean, don't make a fuss about it, I just assumed someone would want that general type food lable as an option.

I love Italian food, pizza, any kind of pasta but my favorite are spaghetti.

I voted for other.
I was thinking of Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam and som good sauce on top of that,
makes me drool every time i think of it..

But indian food is also really good and im definatly not a picky eater since i am a 15 year old hungry boy that eats whatever he gets :naughty:

I absolutely love Italian food. Whenever I go out to eat, I almost always end up ordering an Italian entree. Seafood is second.

I'm with you on Indian. One of the boons to living in East London was that I was never very far away from some place where I could get a truly fantastic curry. I don't necessarily eat the hottest stuff I can handle either. I love all the variations and blends of spices they come up with, since there's one for every mood - something sweet and creamy, or something garlicky and herby, whatever. I love a nice chicken tikka pathia. Great stuff.

My opinion of Italian has gone up recently after having Italian food in a couple of nice expensive places as opposed to your typical drive-thru, spaghetti-and-meatballs joints. I don't know much about different types of pasta, but as long as I'm having something olive-oily as opposed to cheesy then I tend to enjoy it a lot.

Chinese would be my fave except that I get the same impression as zombie, that a lot of chinese places just fry the **** out of their food in order to cater to the indigenous populace. Still, some nice chinese style roast pork or crispy duck can be awesome.

Any type of sea food can get me pretty excited, but although I frequently eat sushi it's not something I absolutely love. I prefer a nice bit of grilled mackerel, or maybe tempura.

Also, I could pretty much eat myself to death on cheeses, particularly goat's cheese.

I like food, food tastes good!
Juicy burgers, greasy fries,
Turkey legs and raw fish eyes
Teenage girls, with ketchup too!
Get out of my way, or I'll eat you
I like food, food tastes good

I like food, food tastes good!
I'm going to turn dining
back into eating

My first reaction: "OH **** YES!", but only if it's homemade meatballs, the way dad makes them.

I move between Swedish and italian cuisine most of the time.

yeah homemade meatballs rocks ;) no ****ing mamma scans xD HAHA

I don't know how you can not like chinese food. It's just so... so... scrumtrulescent

First Chinese, followed by normal food (chips, sandwiches, etc), followed by Indian (very mild curry like Korma).

But chinese is just gorgeous. Chips, Chicken Fried Rice, and Sweet and Sour sauce > all.

Italian... chicken with a pasta of some sort is unbeatable.

Well, buffalo wings are awesome.

All of the above, but definitly chinese and indian. Mmmm, naan bread with all of the sauces.

Italian and American by far, but I have a very special place in my heart (and stomach) for Mexican food as well.

Still, I love some good hamburgers and wings, and pizza, any kind of pasta, and anything else those Italians can come up with is generally superb in my book. I'm going to be studying in Italy for a semester or two in a few years - I can't wait for the food.

Greek

and close seconds are Japanese and Thai, both also not on the list.

Chicken cutlets, french fries, grape fruit, green sour apples, fried fish that doesn't taste like fish (mom makes it don't know name), Chinese is always good, so is japanese (teriyaki chicken) etc.

Finnish burgers (Burgers with beats) are awesome, I'll post the recipe if anyone wants it.

Lasagna is my absolute FAVORITE dish...PERIOD. So I voted Italian.

Mexican came in a VERY close second.

Fukken Belgian fries with a Bicky Burger and Bicky Sauce. God, I'll eat till I die.

Italian is the best food ever. I could eat it every day of the week. And I looooove tradition Neapolitan pizza. The best I've tasted in America is the California Pizza Kitchen.

Seafood is at second place. Salmon is my favorite fish

I knew italian was going to be the top in this poll. You guys make me wanna cry!

I don't really understand why people like italian so much, it's so repetative, dare I say sometimes as repetative as mexican food?

I'll eat anything. I love steak. I love sea food. I love pasta.

But to pick a favourite? That is just wrong.. :|

When you people say Chinese, you're talking about Westernized Chinese food right? And not traditional Chinese food? There's a huge difference.

Yeah it probably is westernised.

But they're real chinese people, which is what matters!

There is a lot of racism between FOBs and ABCs. Many people would say they are different.

all << korean

It's not good unless your nose starts to run and you're sweating beads in a room set to 60F degrees.

Not to be a weeaboo or anything, but I really, really like Japanese food. I always feel so good after I eat it, it's always so fresh and light and deliciousssss

You ought try a big bowl of katsudon, fried egg + fried pork cutlet on rice. You'll feel like throwing up, or going to the toilet, or both.
