No no I was referring to my dad marrying my mom, not anything being at odds with Mexico/Ireland.

Eg: Mexican/Irish mixing with English/German.

They're just opposites, culturally and politically, especially in how the two families were raised.

It's moreso an Irish-English and Catholic-Protestant conflict with how the two families were brought up than anything. Never was an issue at all, I'm just surprised it wasn't is all, seems almost certain it would've been.
