Curiosity is fine. Threads descending into flames, abuse and outright spam aren't, and those have always been the rules. Or should we make it different just because it's a subject you want to participate in?

I think I also don't care about Foxtrot or Heitaria anymore. Pi Mu Rho is a gifted social engineer; he gave us this thread to bury our frustrations and so far it has worked brilliantly.

You'd think that with the amount of users that think the perma ban was unfair and everyone wanting him back that maybe, just maybe they could change the perma ban to something a little shorter maybe a month or so but I still think the ban was/is bullshit and perma banning a member like foxtrot is ludacris.

Also, the rules are that clone accounts will get you permbanned. If we drop that just because Foxtrot is a "senior member" then what kind of message are we giving then?

Because maybe if we all group together, and wish on a shooting star whilst clicking our heels he'll magically become unbanned!

There's a slight possibility that would happen if a lot of members and enough mods wanted him back. Given that the community is pretty divided on this, and the mods are unanimously against Foxtrot being unbanned, the chances are pretty slim.

Because not everyone agreed it was trolling, and even if it is thought so, it's not essentially trolling as much as being annoying. Trolling is Deathseeker. Have you ever seen his threads that come about besides the Princess Jen ones? Foxtrot posting heitaria things is silly and annoying maybe, and if he properly warned in PM's he probably deserves a month or so ban.

Permanently banning him, however, was a very dumb choice, as he's proven to be a great contributor to site discussion. It just makes more people unhappy and rather than improving the forum at all, all it did was make things worse.

I haven't really been paying attention to the whole Foxtrot business (nor is it high on my list of concerns). What were the names of the clone accounts (or account)? Also, what did he use them/it for? Were there any warnings? If I don't know that information I'm not going to comment on it either way. If you don't want to say... don't. I'm just curious.

Random newbie comes here and acts like a bastard, no one knows him and no one cares if he leaves, an outright ban wont have tons of members on you saying it was unjust.

If VERY long-term member like Fottrott, desides to jump up and make a stand about somthing very stupid, in the process making a new user thus breaking a rule - Talk to him, or ban him for afew months at the most, he SHOULD be treated with abit more respect, not because his post count is high, but alot of members know him and have come to like him, its like having a pet for a year, then suddenly the pet has a little accident on the carpet so you douze him in cerosine and let the ****er burn, hardly fair for pet.
