This edit on the fly thing is one of the coolest features I've ever seen on a forum.

I, for no reason at all, clicked on my post and WHAM! This textbox came up and I'm like... "no way..." I already knew what it was. And smiled. :)

EDIT: Ah I see.. thats pretty damn cool...

Quick Reply does not save text when refreshed.

In IE6 the "Thread Tools - Search this Thread - Rate Thread" appear, but in Firefox only the Thread Tools appears. nothing drops down when they're clicked on either.

Also, how does the quick edit work? When I click edit it takes me to a seperate page... ?

search members doesn't work

nothing happens when you click on the button

Not half bad. I'm just testing this thing out.

The buttons above the quick reply don't seem to be doing anything for me.

Edit: None work in the traditional reply box either. Everything in the gray boxes is non-functional except this white text box.

A real cool 'quick reply' with all those options. Seriously, keep up the good work :)

What browser? Also, do a hard refresh.

I like it alot, seems to be very well improved in areas i never thought were possible. My 'quote' and 'reply' buttons disappeared before, but now their back fine, so it's all good for me so far.

everything works fine but somehow every thread with more than 1 page doesn't load right (in IE) and there's this small icon with a yellow warning on the bottom left of the browser.

clicking on the smilies still doesn't work for me.
anyone else having the same problem still?

errrmmmm, every time I refresh this page the word "false" appears in the Quick Reply box and then disappears.

Are other people getting that? :|

Yes Dr. Freeman, I too had this until I Ctrl + F5 (force refreshed)

Edit on the fly?

EDIT: Seems like normal edit to me. :(

EDIT (On the fly) - Pretty Schwing

oh noes is /me gone again?

/me wonders

edit: nooooes! you must fix this!

I'm getting one minor problem when I attempt to log-out. - "An error occurred while attempting to log you out. Click here to log out." - Then I click on the provided link and it works fine.

Yesh. That's what I posted.

Annoying, but I can live without it.

What browser are you both using? I get nothing in there in FF but the word "null" in IE.

Okay, I saw "false" in there for a second but it disappeared.

Try typing text in the Quick Reply box and then refreshing it.

What on the fly editting? Also what is the /me command?
Also the box around the text box when you are writing is grey, I don't like it

Double click on your post...

And /me was an IRC command IIRC. You'd type

/me pwns some badgers

and it would say

SimonomiS pwns some badgers

or something to that effect.

Yeah, seriously. That's what makes it so fun here :(

the dropdown things don't work for me at all like search or quick links

yes I did a hard refresh, and yes, I'm using FF

I'm using exploder and same as above. :(

I'll re-do the /me hack once we get a final release of 3.5
We're probably going to get some bugfix updates in the near future so anything I do now will just be overwritten. Once we've got a stable release I'll add it.

Should've just waited for a proper release anyway, nothing on this version works :/

What do you mean? Pretty much everything works, a few minor nusiances and such but I don't see any major problems.

The pop-up boxes on Search, Quick Nav, Thread Tools etc etc seem random on whether they decide to work or not.

The new quick-reply box looks different in IE & FF.

There is still some error with the code that's displaying a little error icon.

Hmm, I don't want to start a new thread about this, but why is Munr0 (replace 0 by o) censored?

Well yeah, my "false" in the Quick Reply has gone but I can't use the Search function either. :| :rolling:
