Fox"news": "Kids are using a gaming device to access porn out of thin air"

Fox is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who also owns The Sun, and slaves of various ethnic origins.

Fox is going to have a special report on you now, you realize.

How can they have a report on him?

He's a real source.

Isn't this going back to the fact that if you shove porn inbetween pages in the bible, it's the bible's fault?

I say we go straight to the source, and ban women. It's clearly their fault.

did they take the article down?

fox news is still way better than the other national news organisations.. every one of the big 4 (abc, cbs, nbc, fox) organisations with subordinate local stations has really terrible reports coming outof those local stations. you wouldnt see this kind of shit on fox news, but you might see on W*** or K***. not really surprising and it doesnt blight fox news at all. youre all just tards.

lol, the PSP is "magic". I guess I'm friggin Harry Potter then, because I can bring conjure up images on this panel in front of me, and I recieve messages from far off lands on it. Oh, and I have horseless carriages, flameless torches, and I can magically capture a scene and preserve it for in a 'disc'. I draw my power from a mysterious force called 'electricity' and I have acccess to the devil's preferred communication method, the 'internet'. Of course I wouldn't expect a Muggle like him to understand the true scope of my power.

Please go away Fox 'news', you suck.

Looks like they did. Was definately up there before though.

Are you shitting me? Fox "News" is the closest thing to state-run media we have in the US.

I really hope they all die in a fire at Fox News.

How strange.

Does this indicate that if enough people get angry and send hate mail, FOX will eventually crumble under the pressure?

Don't tell me I'm the only one who sent hate mail about it... "You guys have set a new standard for terrible journalism. Congratulations!"

There's a very simple explanation for all this - it's a clear-cut, simple case of witchcraft.
Kill the heretics! *Grabs pitchfork*

other shocking studies reported by Fox News' crack team:

"Study: Fire hurts your skin!"

"Study: Pedophiles do not make good nannies!"

"Study: rape is bad!"

Rofl Nightshade.

I dont think that this issue is very big.
Its not like accessing porn on a PSP is going to kill someone...

Haha, that Penny Arcade comic is awesome.

As is Ghost popping up to claim Fox News is the best media source since sliced bread.

does that mean cnn will be state run media when a democrat is in office?

and no sulkdodds, it isnt great. as always everyone should see as many points of view on an issue before judging something.

Well, when you got to this thread they'd apparently taken the article down, but if you read it you'd see it was entirely ridiculous regardless of political affiliation.

It explained 'wireless internet' as 'magic' for chrissakes.

And yes, I have considered many points of view, and all things carefully thought over I have concluded that I really don't think Fox News is any good at all.

no i'd read the article beforehand.

sensationalist media isnt limited to fox news, everyone does it. most decent journalists, like the majority of reporters in the big media groups, try to stay away from it. not to say its right, but its gay the way all you dumbassas get pissed off at fox news cause one of their tiny affiliate stations which typically cover carnivals and other stupid shit happening in their city, writes a piece of shit story about a national issue.

Sure they all do it. The entire UK tabloid range. Even the Guardian pissed me off the other day by presenting an anti-terror raid as a Stalinistic black-bag job without actually appearing to investigate the reasons for the raid or whether it was justified. But having watched Fox News out of curiosity on satellite TV in hotel rooms across the country, having seen numerous video segments posted in the politics forum, having perused the website and having listened to a noted the antics of certain associated personalities (Ann Coulter, Bill 'Blubbering Vagina' O'Reily) I can only conclude that Fox News is the televised equivalent of all the crappy UK tabloid newspapers rolled into one.

With explosions. :|

EDIT: Meanwhile, they have the gall to trademark the phrase 'fair and balanced' when they were formed specifically for the purpose of providing a right-wing media perspective.

We're used to the BBC, forgive us for not plumbing the depths of America's shitty journalism. Not that there aren't numerous examples of wank reporting at home.

those arent news reporters. those are columnists and opinion writers, like limbaugh. thats like me judging msnbc on scarborough or something. im not going to debate on the worthiness of fox news, i've said my peace.

oh yeah the great bbc. too bad everything on it is just repeats of american television.

haha or how about "islam week". bbc is the definition of state run, and believe me, its FAR shittier than american news or tv. but you're right, their news is alright. i wouldnt say its better than anything else though.

by the way.. how exactly do you "plumb" the depths of something?

You're thinking of channel four mate. But seriously, having experienced the horror of American TV myself, I think we'll have to agree to disagree here. Anyway, I digress, I was simply talking about their news, which is great.

As for 'plumbing the depths', all you need to know is here.

There is a big difference between being state run and state funded. The beeb sure as hell isnt state run.

I didn't know the US media payed so much attention to the affairs of the British parliament. But if you're to be believed, there's been a lot in the States about the current Home Office curfuffle, pensions concerns, the crazy weekend of knife crime, the knife amnesty, stabbings in Manchester...

...I had no idea they were so concerned about us.

Sulk, have ever been to the US and actually watched FOX or CNN?

Sadly, you don't have to go to the US to experience FOX news

I've watched both CNN and Fox News. You'll notice I wasn't universally criticising US media. Rather, I was criticising Fox, because it's frankly crap.

You're telling me they actually give the constant bickering of our Cabinet and parliament air-time?

Channel 4 isn't like like the Fox-type tabloid broadcast, and it's certainly not right-wing in the slightest. It's the televisual equivalent of The Grauniad, for pity's sake.
