Spielburg must have been high when he did these.

Man, this makes me realise how shitty cartoons are today. 90's cartoons were the best by far.

Ah they don't make them like they used to, freakazoid was amazing.

I am holding norns abrams over my head!

Hey freakazoid, wanna see a bear ride a motorcycle?

Loved that, too bad its hardly ever on at all, and i don't have the channel for it.

This the only dialogue from the show I remember:
"Your new powers will only work when you're angry."
"Then I'll only use them when I'm angry."
"That's what I just - argh!"

I remember seeing this a while back. Watching this now im thinking wtf, same as i thought as a kid.

Heh, you must have slipped on a couple keys there. I thought for a second you were captured by Candlejack, but you didn't finish typing his na

Because I had to:

I remember this show but I didn't watch it much...

I lol'd near the end of the last clip:

"You're doing real good ki- Plane." DUN DUN DUN DUNNNN "Blimp." DUN DUN DUN DUNNNN

Oh, Stigmata, why did you say his naaaame...

80's cartoons were even better.

I disagree, while there were many good ones, most were corny to the max. 90's gave us Freakazoid, Animaniacs, Pirates of the Dark Water, Batman: The Animated Series, Rocco's Modern Life, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Sam and Max, Swat Katz, and a lot of other great cartoons. 2000 gave us the cartoon depression. :(

I assume you're not an 80's kid since most of it's nostalgia is corny.
Anyways, the cartoons were great and millions of others would agree with me.

Sorry fellas, passed out drunk in the process of that earlier post.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with saying/typing Candlejack. It's just a kid's TV show for ch

F*ck I loved Swat Cats. Freakazoid was pretty good too.

P.S I hate the censoring.

Well, I was born in 85 and have seen a large amount of the 80's cartoons since then. I just prefer the 90s, as it has many of my favorites.

Batman TAS ftw.

But seriously, Freakazoid, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures and Pinky and the Brain are incri-awesome.

The creator of this show obviously had some inside information on how the internet would affect a person's mind.

EDIT: Oh my god... the part at 9:50 in the third video... hahahahahaahah my sides hurt.

We stand alone, brother.

Much as I too love 90s cartoons, the 80s was the only place you could see a saber-wielding space cavalryman on a robotic horse stop an out-of-control speeding train and then in the same episode fight a giant robot dinosaur with a robotic cowboy that had the voice of Optimus Prime. The 80s were an overload of epic on levels never heretofore matched.

this is not necessarily true. There's still some good stuff playing. There's a lot of good stuff from this generation.

like what??
Hmm, I might not be the best person to ask because I love cartoons and thus I'll probably find some redeeming quality in most of them unless they're COMPLETE shit...but, have an alphabetical list of the stuff I think is exceptionally good that premiered in 2000 or later:

Avatar
Chalkzone
Chowder
Dave the Barbarian
El Tigre
Fairly Oddparents
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Grim and Evil (Billy and Mandy)
Justice League
My Life as a Teenage Robot
Teen Titans
Time Squad
TMNT (up until Fast Forward)
Wayside
Xiaolin Showdown
The Zeta Project

There's a lot more that I currently watch even if they're not spectacular, and I excluded adult cartoon programming (stuff on Adult Swim and Comedy Central). I also left out series that didn't premier in 2000, but had their best episodes in 2000--Courage the Cowardly Dog, Spongebob, Ed Edd and Eddy...a lot of stuff came out at the tail end of '99 and had good runs well into the 2000s.

Edit: I forgot Oban Star Racers. I should not have.

Nostalgia always makes a decade look better because you can boil down 10 years of stuff and ignore all the stuff that sucked. So you're left with a great collection of shows you remember. But for every Batman, there was a Rambo: The Animated Series.

But...but he was the force of FREEDOM! From the canyons of skyscrapers to the canyons of remote mountain peaks, liberty's champion is unstoppable!

Forgot about Fairly Oddparents great show :D

Got to say I don't really like any of the others you mentioned :|

Oh, **** yeah. Samurai Jack in the house.

Mako was the voice of Aku... /me sobs slightly.

Foster's House for Imaginary Friends actually shares a lot of Samurai Jack's DNA in it's animation style, if not in the rest of the show. Still it's nice to see someone still spending time on their cartoon art.

I will say that I think Foster's is one of the best kid's cartoons in production right now though. I've seriously fallen off the couch while watching with my little brother at least once.

My brother walked in on me watching Foster's before and asked me was it Samurai Jack. I thought he had gone a bit mad at first but they do have a similar style.

There was some other cool stuff in 2000, one show in particular... but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

All I remember is that it was on Cartoon Network, and it was awesome.

Personally the only two Nickelodeon shows that have been awesome in the last decade are Wayside and Avatar. (MAN AVATAR IS AWESOME.)

In terms of 90's cartoons, does Reboot count?

You know what was also awesome? Beast Wars. Maybe Beast Machines, but not so much.

[Megatron]Beast Wars, yesssssssssssss.

Beast Machines, no.[/Megatron]

Jintor, describe the cartoon to me if you can. If it's animated and it exists, I know it.
