So I was browsing around newgrounds, and there was this ad for this game called 'Combat Arms'. I normally never click ads anywhere, but this game seemed kind of cool, so I clicked it.
It's an online FPS, and it's 100% completely free to download, and it is really fun. It's 440 MB, and runs really well, looks pretty good. You can customize your weapons (adding different types of scopes, different types of suppressors, and extending the magazine capacity), and your guy's appearance (clothes like flak jackets and helmets and stuff, not his face, well you can customize his face, but you only choose from 4 faces when you first make your guy, asian, white, black, and hispanic faces). You can level up similar to COD4, and for each match you earn money where you can buy new weapons (it's balancing how it is, there are a bunch of weapons, a tiny bit less then CS: S, but you can choose to 'buy' the guns for 1 day (real time), 10 days, 30 and 90 days, but the thing is, it costs an ass load to buy for more then a day. So, you buy for a day or more (or rent I guess), and it'll disappear in exactly 24 hours (it even keeps the time for you), and you'd have to re-buy, so if you want a good weapons you'll have to play to earn some cash (you start out with quit a bit). No real money is required, and besides the lack of levels (there are only about 4, but the game was JUST launched, so they'll probably make more), I think this game is more fun then Counter Strike.
It really surprised me how good it is considering it's free. It doesn't even look that bad, anyways. Looks pretty good to me.

It's really good believe me, more fun then Counter Strike, IMO.
EDIT: I just noticed, each of the different hats/helmets/camo's/flak jacket/etc you can buy, you get little bonuses, like +2% to health and stuff like that.

Basically do not run everywhere bunny hopping like Rambo. It won't work and many people do that. That's the other good thing about that game is that there are tons of nubs on the servers. They got RPG's, etc and I didn't see anywhere to use real money to buy stuff. No ads or anything, just a good, fun, free game. Also be sure to get the other AK-47 gun with scope. Then put on some body armor with helmet and you will do much better.
