Inspired by Fallujah, which sounds like a sneeze..

Post names of places, area's, towns etc. that have the funniest or silliest names.
 
yeah, I love that one :D

zzyzx road or however its spelled also, its some place in california, I passed by it once or twice I think. trip to vegas if not mistaken.

Leave my Canada alone.. I was very nearly there all this week you know.. until I came to my senses that I simply couldn't just go walkabout and drop everything without warning lol... I can see me doing it one day though, just buggering off to another country for a week or so, no planning, nothing, just get on a plane and go.

And shoosh with your evil talk of needing visa's and other crap that spoils the fun of being spontaneous :p

Canada is a great country, I mean, we couldn't have won WW2 without the help of their soilder and tank.

Elephant Butte..I think it is in new mexico..I was looking at a road map a while back

and saw some pretty good towns/cities in canada..southern usa is pretty entertaining as well

i always enjoyed seeing "hooker street" also seeing "gaylord" street intersecting a street with a sign for "speed humps" was fun.

this was fun to say back early in highschool when i was learning to do a proper french accent for my class.

There is a place about 12 mile from my house called 'Bell End', Ive saw a road/bypass called 'Fucton Overpass'. I had a cool link for the UK where you put in your postcode and it came up with loads of rude/funny places.

In Iraq there's a city called Al Kut, which translates from Dutch to English like "All C*nt". Was very funny when a very religious television channel had to pronounce the name in a newsbroadcast. They came up with some weird pronounciation for it. :LOL:
 
While on a camping trip with my family, we broke down in a town named Sandwich while on the way to the camping ground... That was slightly amusing. Well, WE didn't break down, but our family friends' boat trailer got a flat. I've got a nice picture of him flipping off the errant tire.
