who cares, if halo 2 is the best fps ever for a console. just think about that statement for a minute... its actually not that big of a deal. who did they have to compete with? halo 1? not that hard to beat. all they had to do was add dual smgs to make every halo 2 fanboy cream their pants.

Halo 2 is amazing for the system that It plays on. Im sure as a game half life 2 is superior, but it is on a superior system that has some expectations. Half life 2 probably doesn't push the envelope of pc gaming, while Halo pushes the xbox to the limit.

best fps for console, as said before, FPS and consoles should not be said in the same sentece.

There are a whole lot of good fps's in the PC game world, and about 1 and now 2 in the console world, Halo 1 and 2.

Therefore I will always say that HL2 is better, because the competition is better.
