Finally, someone agrees. I played it for about an hour tops before switching it off since I was already bored. Incredibly overated imo.

I've agreed forever but not bothered to say anything lest I make the extremists cry.

I can't emphasize this enough, I'm really disappointed in Epic and equally disappointed in reviewers for giving the game halfway decent scores. It's a damn shame because I consider myself a bit of an Unreal junkie, I've been playing since UT99 and never missed out on an installment yet. The upset surrounding this game is perhaps even greater than UT2003, it's just awful.

Weird, I love UT3. It's a little buggy and incomplete, but the core gameplay is pure fun. Why don't you like it?

I'd actually say Uncharted,I really liked it,Bioshock is second,the ending was corny,Halo 3 will take 3rd,it hit 1 million copies in the pre-order sales

Uncharted was so boring and overrated. I returned it within hours of buying it.

I'm not a fan of Sony,only reason I'd get a PS3 is for Socom:Confrontation and Gran Turismo 5,yes its overrated,but,lets be honest,so was Halo 3

That was surprisingly hard but I eventually went with Mass Effect though I'd have no problems choosing Halo3, BioShock or Orange Box, hell, even CoD4.

Awesome year for gaming which is good because I'll be taking a break from gaming for 2 years soon.

I take back my last post. Super Mario Galaxy for GOTY, everyone! I just got it and have had so much fun. I'll be damned if it doesn't get at least in the top 3 games.

Super Mario Galaxy will not win too many game of the year awards, despite being pretty much the highest-rated game right next to BioShock. I predict Mass Effect, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and BioShock all taking home more awards than it.

That doesn't mean Galaxy doesn't deserve it by a country mile, though

I'm gonna change my mind here and say Mario Galaxy is the game of the year. Because the more I play it, the more brilliant it gets, and the more I realize that it's not just one of the best games of the year, it's one of the best games ever.
