If somebody insults me and says I have bad gear in WoW, I will certainly hunt them down, capture them, torture them, and then mutilate their body to the point where it's unrecognizable.

But really, I wonder what that guy had to be on to want to do something like this.

its funny because people are still playing Counter Strike.....a game that got old in 2005
 
I've been playing CS and CS:Source nonstop since about 2001 (CS until about 2006 and CS:S during/after) and they're basically the same game with different movement/feel. I still love it. I also have been playing DoD and DoD:S since roughly 2002 and those NEVER EVER EVER get old.
 
to me, DoD and DoD:S was more fun....but other games came along and I jumped ship. I can't stand not playing the latest multiplayer game and having everyone at work talk about how much fun it was. None of my circle of friends play that shit anymore. we were 15 back then and it was cool but now its just outdated and bland. you'd also think they'd come out with a sequel

No, but it's still fun. We play it to pass the days in tech class at school, on LAN.
 
Two years seems really light. Also, I am surprised it took him six months to figure out where this guy lived.
 
The most amusing part to me is this is perhaps the first case I've heard where someone has actually made good on those "I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN BECAUSE I'M A LEET HAXOR" threats, at least outside of an MMO or something where you might be more privy to people's personal information. Gotta respect him for following through at least. :p

Yeah, I used to play it all the time until some noob I awped came to my house and stabbed me in the throat with a kitchen knife. Happens to everyone, man.

I always played Soldat in my computer classes in high school. We'd get like 15 people in the class on a server together and just duke it out all class period. If you've never played this it's a hell of a lot of fun, 2d side-scrolling multiplayer fragfest.

edit: yeah, Qon, I can't sing for shit now because I got stabbed in the throat. I know what you're referring to though. We pissed that server off sooooo bad... three dudes screaming Nirvana into their mics at maximum volume and with time lag so we weren't even singing with each other
