Get to know one another!

I'm 14, I live in Colorado at the moment, till about the middle of august when I'm going back to michigan, because I'm visiting my dad. My real name is Jon. I'm planning on being a writer, and I'm writing a book right now. It sucks but it's just practice.

I'm um... sorry I hurt your feelings?

I'm 17, my name's Paul, I was born in Kingman, Arizona and lived there until I was 5. I have lived in Golden Valley, Arizona for the past 12 years but only for about a month longer, then we're moving back to Kingman, Arizona.

My family life is fairly disrupted, we took in my nephews that my sister abandoned. One has very slight signs of fetal alcohol syndrome but an array of other health problems. One has deep behavior problems. Both are under 3, both are drug babies. I help with them, but it's stressful, a lot of the time I am avoiding being in the house and am out chilling at other's houses, drinking, or pulling some shit.

I'm not a street soldier, but I'm down for our Surenos and branded. There are deep personal issues relating to this and even if it looks questionable, it's not necessarily a bad thing. I can tell you, happily and thankfully, that more moral good has arisen than bad from it.

I was kind of a nerd up until Junior high when I changed a lot. My buddy Jose and I went on parallel paths. We still have the picture of us with our first prize ribbon in the 4th grade science fair for our volcano project, and we have new pictures of us together at a quinceneara drunk off our asses hitting it up with some fine women. I've known them since I was 8. His family (brother, him, and his two cousins) are some of my closer friends. I would take a bullet for these people.

My mother's white and my father's Mexican so I've grown up with mixed racial influence. Mexican is predominant, as my mother's attended Catholic church due to my father and that sort of leads completely into hispanic culture. When your walls have the Virgin de Guadalupe up rather than a white Jesus you know what's going on.

I used to have political aspirations of becoming a lobbyist but these have evolved. Rather than coming and going like many young people's career ambitions, they grew and led me to what I'd rather focus on- criminal justice.

I'm planning on serving a few terms with the Air Force either after my associates degree or my bachelors.

After my bachelors in Criminal Justice I'm planning on working in programs managing and mainting the infrastructure in a prison system. I can't really explain it, but something of that sort is a dream job for me. For me it's not about busting criminals or rehab, it's about making sure things run like clockwork- and this is something that needs to.

I've had trouble comitting after my last relationship. I prefer to hook up with one girl for a night or something. I'm okay with a party buddy/friends with benefits (I have a couple of those situations as it is, no problems from it at all) but I'm hesitant to start an official relationship.

Because of that I may have lost a girl I really would have considered marrying.

Oh well.

I've typed a shitload and don't know exactly what I told about myself because I'm not completely sober right now, but all of this is very personal. I hope you enjoyed reading.

My name's Simon, I'm 16 years old (17 in a month), and I live in Belgium. I still go to school, and as far as I can see, I'll be in college in two years studying for engineer. I'm single atm.

I love all kinds of music, I'm very open minded. I went to the best rock festival in the world, Rock Werchter, a couple of days ago, but there's more than just rock. My favourite bands are Coldplay and Placebo, and I've already seen both live.

I'm very athletic, even if I say so myself, and I play basketball. Some say that it's thanks to my lenght (1,97m) that I beat them, but I just say 'sore losers' :)

I have a vacation job for this month to make some money to buy a decent computer, because this one is pure crap.

So far for my o so interesting (/sarcasm) life.

:(

Doesn't that have to have or usually have a downfall/horrible ending for the main character?

Greetings, my name is Mark...From Limerick, Ireland. 20 years old.

Currently living in Dublin with my girlfriend as I have an internship at a small marketing place in Dun Laoighaire. Studying in college in Limerick too. Would love to run my own business (and that possibility is only a few years away...exciting but scary!)

Love reading (Matthew Reilly!), computer games (though have lost quite a bit of interest in the last while :( ), music (60GB MP3 player just in case :) ). Currently learning how to design and build websites (with the help of some other forum-ites).

Not very good at socialising, even on the internet - like some others here...Despite, in my opinion, having a good sense of humour and being a decent person...friends seem a bit hard to find and people I know will often just contact me if it suits them or if they need to...

Edit: Also a lot of the time it seems that if I take an interest in some community event that is running well, it will crash and burn... For that I am sorry...

Have never participated in an avatar/sig fad (non-conformist or outsider???) and haven't featured in a "post-your-pic" thread........yet.... I shall show off my ugly mug at some point.

I kill lots of threads too. It's ok. It was their time. They're in a better place now. Or at least... that's what I tell myself ;(.

Watch this thread fail miserably now.
