Getting Past The Forts

I am in Sandtraps and fighting my way along the coast fortifications. Me and my little band of ant lions have gotten past the first couple, but there seems to be a trick about getting to the next one. Frontal assaults don't work because there is no way in. There is a blocked back entrance but I have not figured out how to get through or around the rubble and rebar.

After the first fort you can go up behind it

i cant past the first couple. they killed my lions, and the lions cant come back to me.

1) make sure you turn off the sand pounders.
2) after the first couple, there is a passage between them that runs up behind one of them. Just keep looking around, and use the antlions as a distraction while you're looking.

okey. i killed first couple. went upstairs. then went to the tunnel. but tunnel is blocked. do i have to go throw this tunnel, or just go to another couple?

Just keep looking, and remember that appearances aren't everything - the answer might be right in front of you but you can't see it because you're not being thorough enough.
