AKA you cant get any. Girls that are too expensive arent worth your time. Most girls arent so demanding. Go out there and find a girl, its better than anything you will ever get from your computer. Or...better yet find a girl that plays games(they exist). Best of both worlds.

well i'm in the same situation. dating probably wouldn't make things any better, and it might make things worse. we're just extremely close friends... no problems when we hook up with other people or anything. i actually had a girlfriend a little while ago, too, and she was bat**** insane and i'm really not too psyched on having another one anytime soon.
 
our female forumites are all quite attractive as a matter of fact, particularly the ones on the staff ;)

But back to the bolded part, the crazy thing is, it is the norm for girls to play games (mostly simple rhythm-type games) here in Hong Kong. Seriously, I was absolutely shocked when the group of chicks I was with decided to burn a few hours... at the arcade. This isn't isolated case either, lots of 'em play the DS (guys play PSP mainly) during bus / mtr (subway) / any spare time. Take into account, they aren't the hideous outcast types either, they are very normal by HK standards (mixed bag in terms of appearence though, but nobody below 'average').
 
So many girls are either insane or evil that the prospects of dating don't look too good.

Or at least don't know the meaning of it, I'm sure they've heard their parents do something called "work," but never investigated it.

I am potentially one of "them," as well.

I have a job, but I don't work very hard. Not that I'm a slacker (I am), but it's just not a very hard job, and my school right now is easy.

Ask girls lots of questions about their life. People love to talk about themselves. If you keep asking questions and seems genuinely interested, they will think you actually want anything but get on with them.

Not a good tip if you want long-lasting relationships, though.
 
Be nice, but be assertive and confident. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Etc etc.
