Well you can't really compare one game to 3, but I believe---strictly from screens and previews etc.--that half-life 2 will be better than them. Especially Far Cry and Deus Ex 2 (which looks like a mess). Max Payne will be good no doubt, as will Doom 3, they will push the envelope, but they will not set new standards. Max Payne was great, deus Ex was great, but HL was absolutely amazing.

So I base my judgemnt off of games previosuly made by the developers.


Oh and the first Matrix is no doubt the better film in every way, I'm just saying I enjoyed Reloaded because of its furthering of the story and the awesome action sequences.

That happened to UT2003, the new unreal engine first showed up in America's Army, not their own product.
