Not in favor of this. I'm obviously not a post-hound. Just look how long I've been here and what my postcount is... wait - you can't!. But I think the postcount was useful because it helped identify new people and therefore helped you to deal with them. If someone asked a silly question you looked at their postcount and cut them a little slack because they are new. Now you can't sort the idiots from the newbies.

I actually liked seeing other people's postcounts as well and there's just something missing now. But I guess I'll get used to it. The rank is there, and you could always watch the public profile to see the postcount.

Post counts are still in the profile if your're that interested, im glad they are off the user info section. It just looks neater.

The post count was pretty pointless since most people thought that the person with the highest count knows the most while forgetting that the other person joined 2 years earlier and just doesn't post much.
