Ok, so I'm guessing anybody that has GT4 right now is playing it. My roomate is playing right now. He transferred 100,000 from his GT3 save and bought himself a '69 Camaro SS and tweaked it as much as he could with the money he had left.

My question is this - What the hell are A-spec points for?

Just guessing but A spec points probably allow you to participate in an A spec race if you have enough of them ( towards end of game?)

A spec is full race i think

The game is great,. not much of a change overall everything improved some, i think the "improved AI" is still oblivious to your exsistance and will drive right into you if you have the fast line.

you can still play bumper cars to get an advantage, but the shakey blurred vision when you collide is a nice touch.

My sugestion to get started cuz it can be slow if you dont have GT3 stats to load, is to:
buy the used 90 CRX si (first car on list), put small turbo before even driving it, change the oil, win some races , buy the 1,000 CR race chip, then race till you have enough money to buy a better car.

EDIT: another way is to: buy a cheap car (90CR-X and take it straight to the high speed ring in Sunday cup. Its easy, just keep racing that and you'll have enough to buy a decent car eventually
