January 6, 2004. Can't wait!
Still a long ass time though.
The game looks great from the screenshots; however, have you actually played it? No, noone has. I don't beleive that a PS2 can pull off what those screen shots show without some minor cut backs in other things. I would wait until the game is released before I label it as a great looking game. The GT4 screenshots look great, I wish Xbox would finally release some better games.Originally posted by Direwolf
Tell that to the people making Killzone.
I think they'd want to know that before they move foward.
I am not underestimating it, I am simply very skeptical. You have to remember that PS2 is 3 years old now, 3 year old technology could not produce a game like the screeshots show. But like I said, I will not say anything negative about it until I actually play it.Originally posted by Direwolf
Actually, I voiced some of those concerns myself in the Killzone thread.
My point is simply to never underestimate an entire platform like that. I've still yet to see rain in any other game as convincing as it is in MGS2.

Yea, the Gran Turismo series rocks and i'm definately getting the next game.
Any word on how many cars there'll be?

GT3 rocked. Especially if you have the special steering wheel for the PS2. I played it so much I managed to upgrade one of my cars until it had 1050 horsepower. It was crazy.

I still want to get Gamecube, for Zelda and Mario games, to remind me of my childhood, wasted hours spend in front of the TV, playing Donkey Kong Country and new Mario Bro. World.
