Gran Turismo vs Forza

I don't mind Gran Turismo, but there are a lot of things that I can't stand about GT games. For one, the sounds are absolute cack in just about every way. Even GT5, which almost looks real, seems to have the same old crappy engine sounds and annoying tyre-screeching that you'd find back in Gran Turismo on the PS1.

Forza, easily. Everything in Forza is better, except for the graphics. But the graphics don't matter.

Personally, I prefer the GT series, and I can't wait for GT 5 to come out. The graphics are INSANE + finally in-car view. Another reason to get a PS3.

The original Forza Motorsport on the Xbox1 totally blew me away. It managed to pull so much performance from the xbox hardware, I thought I was playing a next-gen game. Even looking at Forza graphics now, it still blows me away.

Forza 2 was a bit of a let-down in that they didn't pull the potential from the 360 like they did from the xbox1. Hopefully a Forza3 will be released later on that does.

I'd have Forza over GT any day of the week though.

Forza 1 looks almost like Forza 2. Forza 3 will blow you away.

I liked GT1, 2, and 3. GT4 was bleh.

GT5 prologue looks pretty uninteresting. Same old bumper car physics and re-used sound effects, as Jimmeh noted.
If the full GT5 game doesn't AT LEAST have and option for proper collision physics, it can just **** off.
BTW, did I hear that prologue was going to be free on the PS3 or was I dreaming?

And yes, it just sucks soo much when your car is way better than the AI's and it's impossible for them to win. Or the other way around. I play on hard.. :\

Atleast in Forza the AI drivers seem aware of your presence, which is more than I can say for GT(4).
