has anybody been tryin?
I played a good while now (it ends soon I guess).
I'm a lvl 20 E/Mo, the game is pretty fun, graphics are awesome (pwns WoW) but there's one major problem:

due to the fact the game requires the player to have basic understanding of how to play the game, there are often partys that get owned because the random match making combines newbs and people that are already familiar with controls/etc.

so I guess you're really obliged to do pvp-missions with people you know, i.e. from your guild (hence: guild wars).

mhm, whatever, great game... if you haven't tried you should've to, but there's still some beta events for pre-orderers I guess.

at least it was a nice diversion of the hl2 wait.
post your opinions about it!

so long

Haha, the graphics in Guild Wars are a lot better... mainly because it actually has shaders... and I thought WoW was eventually going to have those, so we'll see...

Anyway, yeah, I'm having lots o' fun... in a cool guild and all. :)

The actual model detail isn't alot, but the textures and the lighting make everything look...amazing. Soo ****ing astonishing you have to use a swear word in this sentence.

Yeah the game does require a bit of common sense, allows for great character expermentation. Many newbs dont get what the crafting system.

The lighting is fantastic, it makes the things that are suppose to be shiny, shiny. The actual model itself, if you pay attention isn't to much. But with insane lighting and great textures..it makes it look...super ****ing super super ****ing super super ****ingm 10000000x better.
Overall its GREAT.

With no monthly fee, constant support, people who created some of the best games(Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo), alot of old battle.net employs it will sure to be a hit. On a 56k, it runs as smooth as well...imaginable. It can really allow for some neat tactics. Though in the start the streaming for a 56ker can be a pain eventually its great. I mean huge ass landscapes, within a small size(like 1-4megs). It's simply, amazing.

The Arena is super super super super super fun!
8v8 battles now(before it was 4v4 but people wnated 8v8 so they made it 8v8).

Since 20% of the company is made up of old warcraft,starcraft,diablo,battle.net employs im sure they will offer alot of support and provide stable servers(Ahh don't think of D2!).

I played During E3, and they have like...new levels that are beutifull it was massivly improved since then. You can choose 2 classes for your character(6 classes total), in the final release i believe you will have 175 total spells(Per each character, you can only take 8 spells into any Battle\Mission. So plan your tactics wisely.).

Your spells dont really improve. Though you can put more on attributes which can improve your spells, though nothing massive. It allows for more it to be based on how well your team can communicate and work togeather in tactics. It's simply great, thats all i can say.

Yeah, Ive been having a blast and im really impressed at how it runs. I can run it at full with AA 4x with no slowdowns. One thing I like is how you can create your own Guild bib, and there are many different combinations. I just wonder if in the full version if there will be different types of Guild Halls instead of everyone having the same Hall

i have been playing it and have really been loving it... i really love the fact that there is no monthly fee that is what turns mmorpgs down for me huge, i would never pay monthly for any game.. EVER.
