My conclusion was that different communities vary completely based on their primary make-up. For example, TruMofo was warmly accepeted in small forums where more than half the members did not type correct english, while in bigger forums like this one TruMofo was quickly considered a "spam account." It doesn't mean you're all assholes at all, it's just a different preception of community, that's all.

I conducted the expirment for self satisfaction and research.

Bigger forums require stronger rules. In a small social gathering you can say what you want whenever, in a large 500 person conference, such ettiquette would descend the conference into chaos. Rules help us.
