That's the scientist in the test chamber, at the beginning of the game. He is saying this over the loud speaker, and then gives you your instructions on what to do with the equipment in there. (To push the cart with the sample in it, etc.)

Heres A Guess, Scientist in Blue Shift in the roof. (Gordon has to climb a ladder to be able to shoot the barrels behind the fence) I'm probably wrong but just a guess.

No sorry, but it's a little bit after a few aliens, where theres an injured scientist was and the black scientists said that quote. Then you had him open a door for you. (Next to computer that broke earlier in the game)

  • The graffitio: "Yore dead freeman" was in the On A Rail chapter just after you pass through the upper missile tube section -- it's in a little side room off the main track with a couple of dead marines being eaten by a bullsquid.
  • "I wonder if those boys could have made a bigger mess" -- is a generic Barney quote that he can say at any point in HL1; along with "That will look good in my trophy room", "Hey, did ya see that shot?", "Did ya see... see that THING? with the ...", or the fun "I'd love to get my hands on the guy who created this mess".
  • "Freeman, I've been waiting for you! One of your scientist pals [* .... SNIP .... *] about a Lambda team needing the satellite in orbit if they were ever going to clean up this mess." -- a Barney's message to you before the road^H^H^Hrailblock to On A Rail and just after you electrocute the first Garg.

Clue: it was the first hint that the alien incursion had been happening for some time before Gordon's little accident with the resonance cascade.

No clue required. It's on the level after Blast Pit (forget it's name - is it apprehension?) where there is an itchyosaur (sp) [big alien shark] swimming around and a crossbow dangling in a cage above it. The quote is taken from one of the scientists in the upstairs room.
