Yeah it may take a while, but this is it!

AP - Toronto, Canada

"November 2nd, 2003; Valve has finally released Half Life 2. Their ongoing troubles due to the hacking of their systems and the ultimate robery of valuable code has caused Valve to release the game on a more financially beneficial media type, the diskette."

UPDATE: There is word Valve forgot to place diskette 593 into every package!

Floppies are always good for boot disks, and stuff, other than that, pretty useless

All OS's have bootable CDs (except for the old ones) and for stuff you use USB Flash drives.

I don't have floppy drive anymore and will never ever have one again (I have about 100 broken floppies in a box and 0 working ones). :p

he he Hl2 on floppy-disks.. Better than steam though. =)

I had Wolfenstein 3D and Spear(?) Of Destiny on 1 floppy disk all zipped up and that provided me with hours and hours of game play.
