Pessimists often call themselves "realists" in an attempt to justify their chronic negativity.iamaelephant said:I'm not an optimist or a pessimist. I'm a realist. And there's no capital letters in my name.

And do you have anything intelligent to add to this debate? Do you know if anything here is incorrect about the Release Candidate speculation? Most people here are gaining the information from looking at previous games, and unless we actually have an expert to correct us on anything I can't see why people shouldn't analyze and try to discuss the release candidate.Dagobert said:I LOVE the way suddenly everyone is a 'release candidate' expert (even using the acronym RC) even though, before this one, none of you had any idea what one was.
So funny.
Anything else you kids claim to be experts in? Brain surgery? Rocket science?

Nope. But considering you're writing this just further proves my point. Of course i wouldn't say i'm stupid myself.iamaelephant said:So anyone who isn't blindly optimistic is stupid? Okay buddy...

Doubtful, I'm sure they'd know how we'd react when the RC gets shot down. They wouldn't announce it if they didn't have *some* expectation of it being accepted.mannyfresh027 said:Valve is probably far from finished, but they submitted a shitty RC just to quiet everybody.
