Half Life 2 Voice Actors

Judging by the 'beta' (I got bored over Christmas, I have broadband) the suit voice is the same as before, as are the other suit sounds. Naturally these might be placeholder sounds, but it would make sense for them to be the same, and it also adds a familarity to the atmosphere I found.

I don't see where he would get another HEV suit, so of course the voice will be the same.

You dont need to be a proffesional to do heavy breathing.Just punch someone between the ribs and theres your voice acting.

Well the game is set 20 years in the future from Black Mesa, so the suit might well be an upgraded version in the final release.

Mickey Rourke is going to be voice acting in Driver 3. if that has anything to do with this. I'll bet he knows the whole story though.

*imagines David Hayter as Gordon*

You never hear his voice in HL2 until the end...then for the first time the camera zooms out and onto Gordons face...where he says...."metal gear??"

ok maybe not...XD...

Nobody, Freeman won't have any lines at all, like in the original. It breaks immersion.

okay i don't think this is very likely at all... but, i had heard, back in... 2000 i think(pc gamer or computer gaming world...), that kevin spacey was gonna be in HL2, ... so who knows, maybe they'll have some famous/semi famous actors/actresses doing voice work.

I think someone was having you on.. Or they were toying with the idea.. I remember hearing Charlie Sheen thought the first game was really good.. How true any of this is I don't know :)

Was it the April Issue of PC Gamer or Computer Gaming World?
