Half Life remakes

Can someone send me the links for everyone who is remaking Half Life graphics... :afro:
 
Well i guess that comes under the "Help Wanted" catagory =o
 
I'm hoping against hopes...I just can't stand the way it look.
I know about BMS and i would love to help but i have no skills when it comes to modding.
But BMS will take longer then just skin and texture changes. though i do look forward to playing BMS
 
Do you know how many Skins/textures there are in HL?
Just getting those up to modern standards takes alot of time..
 
Textures: 3000+
Levels: Upwards of 50 independant bsps in Hl1 I believe
Models: Heh, wow: a lot.
Weapon Models: 10+
NPCs: several dozens

This is more a total conversions then a modification.
 
I thought you could just find "texture A" for example and then up date that and it would change all of "texture A" throughout the game...
But i do understand it would take a while to update all of the textures..
 
Unfortunately the only way to remake HL1 effectively would be to port it onto the Source engine, as the original engine (a version of the Quake engine) will not be able to handle the extra detail that people are intending to implement.

Why not use the Quake 4 engine instead of the quake 2 :p
