can we get a template to use for the contest, i'm ready to make an entry :E

(even tho it's probably fruitless because there is no cow level... I mean contest yet)
 
I think we need a fresh header and a new logo. If someone is willing to make one then please do, you would be rewarded :) With contests there's not often very much input.
 
It should be the G-man in a sexeh pose holding a sign saying "HL2.net rocks teh big one!!!1111!!!oneone!!!111!!11121!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111" with less 1337 speak
 
Yeah, a new banner would be nice. One with more colour! :D
 
Im guessing any entries should have Halflife2.net, not Halflife3.net or Halflife.net? Was wondering whats going to happen with the name...

Well, i had nothing to do so i took the chance to make my kind of HL2.NET banner/top logo.

I like it Garfield. Very much.

But you could remove the "halflife2.net" part and just add ".net" with small letters after the big Half-life 2 text.

Maybe you could sticka gunship/ strider or something behind the combine on the left which is a bit bare or add a faded shot of breen like you have of the gman
Give it more symmetry

I tryed with a Strider behind the combine, but somehow i thought it would just be more ugly with a Strider there. But i added the Combine Gunship :)
 
To fit it to the hl2.net theme i used the same colours, begie and blue :)

Please could some mod think about this contest and if its possible to add a new banner made by your fans ? or is it HL2 fans :D
