Halflife2.Net Site Not Valid HTML?

I don't know if it matters, but when I ran the W3C validator on halflife2.net, it looked like it was full of non-standard thingies... My point is, if the site was made with standard html 4.01 it's compatilibility with other browsers would be guaranteed.

Anyone got comments on this?

It's just being pedantic. It works on all browsers so there's nothing to worry about.

I don't know why people always get worked up over things like this... if it looks ok, works ok, then it's fine.
