Halo 2 Pirated

Wow, I didn't know Xbox stuff could get pirated. :O
 
XBox, GC and PS2 are all pirated and distributed on a daily basis.. all you need is a modchip and you can run burned games. It's sad, but EVERYTHING goes the way of warez these days.

Oh man...I wish I had a dvd burner and a modded xbox right about now. I already have paid for Halo 2...I'm dying to get my hands on it.

Actually...I know a guy with a dvd burner on his laptop...and another guy that could mod my xbox for cheap....hmmmmmmmmm....I will investigate this further.

EDIT: Upon actual consideration - Not gonna happen...It'd cost me too much money and hassle just to have Halo 2 like 2 weeks early...not worth it.

you dont need a dvd burner, runs fine off the HDD.

That was quick, I guess it is Halo 2. I'd imagine HL2 will be pirated quickly too, it would be a great achievment if it didn't though.

you will never stop stuff like this..it's to bad..but it's part of the transfer of data around the world...it WILL happen. Somebody WILL get the game or movie or application before it comes out, no matter what firewall or anything they have to protect the system. COMPUTER = HACKING. It will always be that way, until something really weird is implemented.
 
most of the people geting halo 2 is for the xbox live part of it. You cant xbox live a copy.

You need to buy a modchip, audio is in French, and you don't get live. No biggie.
 
I don't have the cash for a mod chip right now... (rent and college)...and I can wait 3 weeks (barely) for Halo 2.

Well I found a site that you can download Halo 2 from but too bad I don't have xbox

Its only a matter of time before Half Life 2 gets leaked as well after it goes gold..

Ouch, I feel bad for Bungie, if this causes them to lose more than a few sales. Those guys worked their asses off to make Halo 2 one of the best games in years, and it probably will be (I'm also positive it won't even come close to HL2, but it'll still be a sweet game).

I'm a long-time fan of Bungie, way back from the days of Pathways, Abuse, and the Marathon series (oh how I wish they'd develop another Marathon title instead of a Halo 3 or a new project), and I wouldn't ever wish misfortune on those guys.

I don't think its worth downloading, first you need to modd ur xbox if you havn't then you need to learn fren cause the game leaked with a fren sub, and finaly you require to wait 20 hours to get the game.

I think that yes, this will take an impact on overall sales of Halo 2.

Which means HL2 can come out first, and get more sales. :p

You can't compare. There will always be more console gamers than pc, because of the inexpensive hardware.

Halo 2 will still sell way more than HL2. Fact.
 
I think this is the most pathetic thread i've ever seen.

The first halo sucked massive donkey balls, it is nothing special, can be fun but nothing worth gettin yer knickers in a twist over.

In fact microsoft can just fuk off. Full stop.
 
#1- Leaked Halo 2 is not supported by Xbox Live, nor is any other leaked game

#2- XBconnect is the only way to play it over the net, which is slow as hell w/ no mic support

So if you want a good Halo 2 MP game, you will have to get the full version.
