I hope fps will be fixed somehow - the firefights suck!
Also, anyone give me a clue how to keep my f'ing marines from killing the capt after the jailbreak? They keep mowing him down when the hanger doors open! If I kill them, either the capt tries to kill me, or he gets mowed down by all the grunts before I can kill them all.
I'm pissed off that I can't get past this stupid level! Damn you Micro$oft for screwing up my dearest Bungie!!!

You get to drive the jeep in singleplayer aswell, right?
What about the psysics in Halo? I can see in the first picture his arms are bashing around and I'm a feel big fan of people that fall from high places and it has to look perfect! What if a jeep tips over, do the guys inside of it get killed?

If I remember correctly, yes. I tipped over the jeep like 20 times on that recover troops mission
The physics on the jeep rocks. Its the coolest vehicle I have ever driven. Regarding general gameplay physics, its nothing fancy. They fly around when naded, but its still just animations. Nothing beats seeing a big bad covenant flying over you with waving arms and screaming

the best thing ever is in multiplayer, with unlimited grenades, a guy swoops down with a banshee to kill you, and you dodge and throw a plasma nade, haha they panic after that, one of two things happens, 1) they continue flying for a second, and then get blown out of the air. or 2) the guy panics and jumps from the banshee and dies when he hits the ground, heh.

Im sorry, but those graphincs look alot worse than what I remember of halo, are you running on low end pcs?

Let me guess, you are running on an Nvidia card? I didnt think the lighting problem was that severe... Either I screwed up some setting about night and day, played on the wrong map (though I think it looks pretty similar) or I just lost even more faith in Nvidia :dozey:
If its an ATI card I would be surprised though
And if anyone wonders, yes I could have made it even prettier, I could have used higher resolution. But as I said, its my normal playing settings, 800x600, everything high, 16xAF.
