Harry the nazi

Its not like harry has gone out on the streets and paraded the fact he dressed up at Hitler. This was a private fancy dress bash, which was meant to be out of media attention, he didnt do it for any reason to spite people. Personally i dont like the royal family and find them a waste of space, but why be so hard on him, hes just normal dude around 20 something, having fun. Lots of people dress up at Hitler for parties and stuff, whats the point in being so judgemental.

I have to admit, that I've never smoked pot and just don't tend to; basically because it just doesn't plain doesn't interest me. Put I didn't realise of how much people actually smoked pot until I got into 6th form.

This is true.


The general opinion of people tends to be that only a few trouble makers smoke spliffs and take other stuff..


Its actually the vast majority in my experience. I know far more people who have tried drugs than those who havnt. The only reason people dont take drugs on aregular basis is the cost....

I heard about that. Personally, I think, so what. Can't people get over the Nazis already? I don't really care about this, and think the media can go shove their papers, reports and other crap up their "bum". So what! Although I do think he was kind've stupid, because there are actually people out there that care about something. Besides, he'll probably be King. By the time the queen dies, the oldest brother will be dead, and the second in line will die as soon as she dies. If she does die. No doubt she'll have to resign :rolleyes:

Spread the word. We need to make it mainstream. Better than charvers, I don't know where that word came from, but I just started hearing it about 5 years ago, at school.

I honestly didn't know of the word until a year ago, and even then it was only by the TV. I bet they use it in schools, but I certainly haven't heard it around college.


I like the word plebien.
 
There's no royal position better than Harry's - All the perks with no shadow of future responsibility. Harry is the new Creon, folks.
 
Scrap what I said about being inside out/omnipresent in the "what would you be?" thread, I would go back in time, delete the word chav and replace it with scally. It's gone too far now. A 40/50 year old woman and her bloke were describing kids with "1 stripe" as chavs.

I shot them. With my pump action yoghurt rifle (think about it).
 
The media is overreacting a bit, but when arent they?


I do wonder why in the world harry thought it would be a great idea to dress up like a nazi though. The royal family sure does do alot of stupid stuff.

On the other hand I think a delirium may be setting in due to lack of sleep, too much coffee, too much HL2 DM and essay fatigue. And the stress of procrastination :naughty:

Nearly all my mates at uni use the word chav, about 50% of them are southerners, most of them hadn't heard of a scally before. I'm holding out though, hope to convert most of them in 3 years time.

I'm in the process of procrastination too. I'm supposed to be doing an essay on HIV and possible therapies. I haven't touched it for a week!

Yeah I think it is originally a North East word, it's been around there for ages.
Geordie charvers, not very nice 'people' (assuming they somehow have earnt the right to be entitled people).
They're so stupid, it's funny.

Actually I think Charver is original Geordie slang meaning "Young Lad", heard Jimmy Nail using it in an Auf Weidersehen Pet from the 1980s.

I'm shocked! Scally was used in old Landan Taaaahn aaages ago. And it's STILL a great word. I bite my tongue when my friends say "chav". I have become accustomed to the taste of blood.

I'm currently working on an essay about Edward II by Kit Marlowe - a play which I have yet to read properly. Ahem.

I don't like the term "chav". Or chavs themselves. Or people who go "mam" instead of "mum" or even "mom" for some reason.

Anyway, as always, this was blown out of proportion by the media. I don't think it's down to him lacking knowledge on the subject of the Holocaust- it's just the result of a bad decision. It was a private fancy dress party and he went as a Nazi officer- someone should've prodded him and told him it was a bad idea.

He's an ordinary guy who happens to be in the public view constantly, it must drive him insane. None of it really matters, either.
 
He is a celebrity and has to own up to it, he can't go around doing those kinds of things.
 
Yes yes, all that stuff about greater responsibility and suchlike but he's just a slightly dim lad who's ended up a Royal. He doesn't ask the public to surgically bond their collective noses to his rear. Considering who his grandad is he's just keeping the traditions alive, heh...
 
Foolish figureheads. I don't give a damn about the Royal Family. Only one that is reasonably likeable is Phillip causes hes always saying stupid/racist/insulting things.
 
Oh my God! Look at the Prince! It's a good thing I'm an American, because America doesn't have a national figurehead that doesn't embarrass the entire country. Thank God for that.

Personally, whilst I don't like the Royals, I don't believe in attempting to abolish them - that's just asking for all kinds of trouble. Besides, they're quite benign so why not just let the inbred little oddballs be.
They should have less money than they do - take away a significant proportion of their wealth and set up a homeless foundation or something. THAT would be serving your realm.

What i dont like about the monarchy is that they take a significant chunk out of our tax money each year.... :rolleyes:
 
To abolish our monarchy would be to take away our status. We are known for this, and without it, we would just look like we're following the sheep
