Not only have multiple people gotten emails from Gabe saying it was him, but the account he used is known to the board administrators: they can see his registered email and his IP, and they would not tolerate someone impersonating him.

Doesn't work like that. When you do a visual route it finds the data center's location. And even some times the company's location. So you would actually get the address for the company hosting their lines, or the address for a data centre.

Thats what I use to copy my screenshots also. I would have photoshop open and I would then hit print screen make new and CTRL + V to paste. This is why i dont have photoshop open when i take screenshots cause people will say "look its been photoshoped". If he wanted to forge it , he wouldnt need photoshop.

Think about the registration process.

You create the account with all your details including your email address. This email address then recieves an email asking you to click a link to verify that a) the email address isn't already in use and b) that the email address is your own. So Gabe would have registered with [email protected] and then he'd have had an email sent there, which he would have verified.

The fact that he registered with his own email address can be checked by the admins.

There's a cool feature in PhotoShop that lets you capture a screen, window or applications current display. If I had photoshop, I'd use it rather than pressing printscreen, loading up a program then pasting etc. etc.
