Ign.com say's it's for 360 along with ps3 but Ubisoft doesn't have a page for it. What's with that? Is it for 360 too?

It looks so pwnsome.

A friend who worked on it says it's PS3 only. Then again, he no longer works there so it may have changed.

PS3 Exclooosive.

p.s.
don't trust ign.

Well damn... Oh well it doesn't matter. It's made by Ubisoft not Sony. And it's a shooter so eventualy (by that I mean six months after realese) it will flock to the motherland for shooters. And I'll get to play it!

Ha! Take that sony. Your exclusives mean nothing in a time were developers would rather make money then depend on one system!

PS3 exclusive, but from what I've seen it looks shit. Not that I want to be confrontational about it, but I think it looks to play nearly identical (minus the nectar scenario) to a certain Xbox shooter that I'm having trouble recalling the name of.

^ Isn't Haze developed by the same team that made TimeSplitters? If so, history would be on their side and the game will likely kick copious amounts of ass.

Wow! You have truly opened my eyes with this life-altering statement right here. Where would I be without all these unbiased comments against Sony?

Please enlighten me on what Haze is exactly.
Typing www.g and hitting the remember tab is just too much.

Well I think it look's awesome. And duh all shooters look alike. You can't get that much variety in the FPS genre.

Here Naph. http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/784/784481.html

Oh yes, Free Radical. :)
4 player co-op ought to kick some serious ass. May can't come soon enough.

As I understood it, it was originally slated for PC, 360 and PS3 but was dropped for the former two to be a Sony exclusive. However, I'm absolutely sure I read somewhere that this was only "at launch", and there may be a chance for it to come to other platforms later on.

[/talkingoutmyarse]

But seriously, it's Ubislut (yeah, that's the best I could do). What are the chances they actually manage to stay monogamous this time?

Lol, they put visors over everyone. I guess they didn't want to model faces too much.

Apparently they're going to work on Timesplitters 4 after they bring Haze out.

Yeah that has become the new lazy thing to do. But I really like the Mantel armor. It look's so cool! And I like the yellow.

re: Bad^Hat's post.
Thats what people on other forums :cough:GameFAQs:cough: fail to see. It's published be Ubisoft. Name four exclusive titles Ubisoft has made! DeBlob for the Wii thats the only one I can think of.

Even MGS4 will be ported to 360 (probably not for like four or six months). Exept for games developed by the company of the system like Nintendo, Ico/SotC etc. Theres no such thing as exclusives anymore.

Which Im happy about. I hate seeing a really awesome game that I really want to play but to do so I have to buy a 600 dollor system! WTF?! But thats just me. Im sure theres someone who like shelling out all that cash to have all systems and gets uber pissed when an exclusive fails to be exclusive.

De Blob was multiplatform, I played the PC demo.

That's physically impossible. I bet the game engine itself takes up five gigabytes, the game would require something like thirty DVDs to ever run on a 360.

I could care less about Haze, all I want is TimeSplitters 4, which I hope is going to be multiplatform, seeing as if it went exclusive to either console, it'd be ****ing over loyal fans, it doesn't matter THAT much to me since I have both a PS3 and 360, but I think making TimeSplitters PS3(Or 360) exclusive would be like Konami making MGS4 XB360 exclusive, in other words, royally ****ing over fans who helped keep the 'series' alive by buying previous games.

That's horrible! I could care less about grammar oh no! I made a mistake! No kitty run!

I think 360 and PS3 is a given for TS4. They say they're interested in doing it for the Wii too.

I believe that Haze is an indefinite exclusive and TS4 will be multiplatform, even Wii. Not 100% on that but I think I remember reading it.

Haze is definitely my most wanted shooter. Free Radical is one of the most talented development teams in existence, with Timesplitters and Second Sight being some of the greatest games released last generation. I expect Haze to be of the quality that Perfect Dark 0 should have been.

Devil May Cry wasn't an exclusive. You really think a generic (but awesome looking) shooter is going to stay exclusive? I just don't see that happening at all.

I really doubt it. MGS 4 supposedly can't even fit on a standard blu-ray disc so it would need 3 or 4 discs to run.

I still can't see Haze as a permanent exclusive, however, I do not believe that even if it's a timed exclusive, it means it'll go the 360, I could however see it as highly likely that it will eventually recieve a PC port.

It'll have a 360 release in late 2009, with all the PS3 DLC on the disc, etc, etc. Like Lost Planet, only the other way.

I really don't think I was trolling. No, I know I wasn't trolling. Sometimes people make mistakes. And if there is a rule against bad grammar then it is the mods job to correct them not yours.

-sigh- noobs. . .

I didn't know FR made Second Sight. . . that game owned.

and so did Timesplitters2/3

So for that i want to play Haze, but it does look kinda generic so i'm wary.

Meh. Even if we don't get it on 360, we still get TimeSplitters 4. That's all I will need this year.

Actually, Haze was born while they were making an early stage of TimeSplitters 4.

It's generic, all shooters are. Halo 3 and Goldeneye the only diffrence is the setting the enemy the story the characters and the graphics. Same mechanics. To be a fan of shooters you have to look past that.

Haze is different in the way your not killing aliens or stoping time. Your pumping a type of steroid into your neck, and that makes it different enough to me to be awesome.

Plus have you seen the armor? Pure win.

. . . . Um. . . that's a pretty big difference, and there's more than that to shooters, there's pace and combat style and realism. I could list more but it's beside the point.

and the armor is cool. but it looks just like every other sci-fi/spacemarine/futuresoldier guy i've seen before. imo.

Did someone just call Golden Eye generic?

Not to mention the entire game is uncompressed 7.1 sound and 1080p. It's really insane.

Both of those statistics are meaningless, unless a huge portion of the game is FMV. You can have all the "uncompressed" 7.1 audio and 1080p video you want in your game, because in the end it's really just a bunch of textures being rendered onto a screen and a bunch of single-channel .wav files being mixed through your speakers.

Stuff can be scaled down, and remember; they like to recopy all the textures over a few times to make loading times faster, I can't remember what the technique is called but it's famous for being used on PS3 because the loading times suck.
