Heal Headaches Naturally

seems like a bunch of homeopathic nonsense

I simply used my own fingers to administer acupressure on an acupoint in the web between her thumb and index finger called Valley of Harmony. Within five minutes, her headache was gone.

None the less, I can't wait to get a headache so I can try to get rid of it.

He pressed his fingers against an eight-year-olds Valley of Harmony?

Pervert.

You sound like an ad-bot.

I, too, came to this thread to ban the perpetrator.

In view of VirusType2's long-standing er...standingness on this forum, I think we should throw a dice. Odd number, he gets an infraction. Even, he doesn't.

Good idea?

Tell you what would be even fairer; more democratic. Everyone roll a dice and post the number you get here. Then we'll add them all together and divide by two. If it's even, he gets an infraction. If it's odd, he escapes!

I'm sure Pi will use a seven-sided die.

Four odd numbers and three even. Good luck, Virus.

Edit: Well, now that you've changed the rules, I guess it's in Virus' favor.

This will be interesting.

REPORTING YOU ALL

Seriousness, this is interesting because I get awful headaches sometimes, and my grillfriend gets terrible headaches often (She even had to go on morphine at the hospital because one was so severe)

For the past three years, I've been getting headaches as much as every other day or even every day, and I'm not sure why. I've asked people on here several times if they know of any special tricks to get rid of them. Being that my situation is somewhat unusual, I guess I overestimated the value of this article to others.

Are you talking about headaches or migraines? I get migraines pretty frequently. Like right now.

Would your girlfriend happen to be a morphine-addict?

Yeah, I know some people that are like that including my gf. I often just wonder if it's because of diet and sleep.

I actually get headaches often enough to know what caused them 90% of the time. You get good at noticing it.

But sometimes, there's not much you can do to avoid getting one.

If I stay awake at night later than normal, I risk getting insomnia. Once I get that 'second wind' and can't sleep, I'm guaranteed to be awake for about 30-48 hours. My head and eyes will hurt from sleep deprivation and then I'll have a severe headache the next day that hardly responds to Ibuprofen. The headache will even carry over for another day, though significantly less severe.

Another reason I get headaches is because my vision is becoming weaker over the years. I spend hours at the computer every day, so I get eye strain. The muscles in my eyes become fatigued and it can cause headaches. Not only that but I currently have a CRT monitor that's not entirely sharp, and yet further, I've always been sensitive to refresh flicker. So I've been looking to replace the CRT with a new LCD and to purchase some prescription glasses.

One of the best things I did to reduce eye strain was to place a light behind my monitor to reduce the contrast and so there isn't any glare on the screen.

It's one thing to know the cause, but I sometimes spend 8 hours at the computer for work, it's not really avoidable in this line of work.

I also have somewhat high blood pressure.

I had bad headaches for 10 years.

Then they FINALLY did a blood-allergy-test, and it was discovered I'm allergic to corn & soy. Since I've also discovered I'm allergic to watermelon & cantelope. Either way, the headaches went away after that.

I always used to get back headaches, and sometimes still to.

The single most effective way I stop my headaches is to drink water. LOTS OF WATER. Stay properly hydrated and it'll reduce and eliminate your headaches. At least it does for mine.

Allergic to corn? Wow, very few things you can find today that isn't made with corn. I would have to kill myself if I found out I was allergic to cantaloupe or honeydew melons. Watermelon not so much, but I still love the stuff.

Others are from to much eve online!

Noooooo never pitzy baby.. your my princess xxx

I get seasonal headaches, and when I feel like I need to I use that Neti Pot and my headaches vanish!

and if they just make a cure for AIDS I'll be gold! ;)

Hey guys I found a great article about bullshit cures that might induce a placebo effect if you're really gullible like me!

Yeah, pressure points are a placebo.

The scientific study of plants, known as botany, has identified about 350,000 extant species of plants, defined as seed plants, bryophytes, ferns and fern allies. As of 2004, some 287,655 species had been identified, of which 258,650 are flowering and 18,000 bryophytes

We don't know what hardly anything does, but it seems all plants can affect humans in some manner when taken internally. From something as simple as increasing heart rate, to complete cardiac arrest. Lowering absorption of minerals, or

There must be plants out there that can be used medicinally that we don't know about yet.

HEY VT2 CARROTS AREN'T ON THAT LIST

I would have to kill myself if I found out I was allergic to...

Whenever somebody says this to me after they hear I'm allergic to nuts I get pissed off and tell them they should kill themselves anyway. :sniper:

It's annoying to constantly ensure I'm not eating anything with nuts but I don't miss what I've only ate once at the age of 1...on my birthday...

My die exploded when I rolled it. :|

You're missing some amazingness if you can't have nuts my friend. Especially salted cashews or pistachios. My god yum.
