My Dad killed my PC he stomped it with is ****ing feet.everything is broken...ram...gpu...cpu.This happened 2 weeks ago,Im using a friends PC to type this,so I dont know how soon I can visit this thread again.Im going ****ing crazy almost 3 weeks without WoW or CSS....and no porn either I dont know how long I can ****ing go on.All I do is work,sleep,and work out.Seriously I thought about shooting myself the other night.I work so much that I barely have time to hang out,in fact Im going to in a few hours.I need a ****ing PC.My dad says I will buy me a new one in 2 months....I CANT WAIT THAT LONG **** ****:(
 
yes that PC was paid with my money,and ONLY my money.
Also I just talked to my dad...he says I can use his lap top top to browse the web...but no WoW or any other games....>.>

I am serious man...If he just would have taken my PC away I wouldn't be so mad.But Im you guys understand how it must feel if someone basicly destroys a $1000 PC.Im very mad about this....And basicly havening no way to vent after work sucks....the only thing I can do now is run around the track.I just wished I could play a little CSS or WoW :(

He always sitting in front of the PC is a waste of time.So he never understood how my/our Generation feels about PC's....its an extension of ourselfs...he says Im addicted to it.Which is BS

See, most dads, to turn their sons into men, take them hunting...or to the nudie bar...they dont stomp a PC into carbon dust...

If you want to shoot yourself over the lack of CSS and WoW, then yes, you are obsessed. I have no trouble letting go of gaming for a month or so. Im so sure of it, I dont need to prove it :D

This is shitty indeed if it's true. Just deal with it dude. Nothing is ever as bad as it seems. There's more to life than sitting in front of a monitor and playing games.
 
stomping a pc is a bit extreme. my parents used to take away my keyboard and mouse because i used to run up the internet bill :p. sure beats taking away the whole case or stomping it into nothingness.

Question: how old are you?

Another question: what exactly is "a man" in your dad's eyes? You work and pay for your own things. You're earning money that you spend on what you like to do. That's what an adult does. At least you're not mooching; have you ever asked your dad to consider that? He probably spends money on his hobbies.

You also said you work out and run track so on the physical side you're not a bum either. You should really ask your dad what he expects of you. And immediately AFTER that you need to tell HIM that he has some serious anger management issues and that stomping and breaking other people's property isn't a "manly" thing to do, it's childish. Seriously, only children do things like that. You need to stand up for yourself and tell him that, verbatim if possible. At best you'll make him realize what a royal jerk he was and gain his respect. At worse he'll stomp on you too, but at least you'll have some dignity to say you told him off.

Seriously dude, take my advice. Your dad needs to know that is NOT cool and that's NOT what adults in this world should be doing. They're supposed to be examples of behavior for their children, not computer-stomping neanderthals.
